1999 FORD ESCORT LX I'VE HAD THIS 15 YEAR OLD VERY RELIABLE CAR SINCE 2002, I AM ONLY SELLING IT BECAUSE MY MOM SOLD ME HER CAR. I AM NOT A MECHANIC BUT I WILL TRY MY BEST IN DESCRIBING THE CAR (THE FOLLOWING IS ONLY MY OPINION FROM MY EXPERIENCE IN OWNING THIS CAR). THE ENGINE IS IN VERY GOOD/GREAT CONDITION (IT GOT THRU SEVERAL NEW ENGLAND WINTERS!), THE INTERIOR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (A FEW MINOR STAINS/HOLES INSIDE), EXTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION (A FEW RUST MARKS, SCRATCHES, DENTS, COSMETIC MOSTLY). THE CAR WAS FLOODED OUT ONCE ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO BUT ONCE THE CAR DRIED OUT, IT STARTED UP AND IS STILL RUNNING! THE FRAME UNDERNEATH DOES HAVE RUST/ROT ALL OVER. THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR WAS DETACHED FROM THE CAR BUT WAS REATTACHED WITH EPOXY 5 YEARS AGO, AND STILL IS ON AND WORKS FINE. I AM SELLING THIS CAR AS IS, THERE WILL BE NO "TEST DRIVE" AND I CANNOT GUARANTEE ANYTHING ON THIS CAR ONCE IT'S IN YOUR HANDS. ONCE THE WINNING BIDDER PAYS, WE WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE CAR TO BE PICKED UP BY LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. THERE IS NO DELIVERY! THERE IS NO WARRANTY EITHER. 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible to recreate Empire State Building stunt
Tue, 25 Mar 2014It would have been all too easy to miss the auto show debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang convertible. It was, after all, unveiled alongside its fixed-roof counterpart at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, lumping coupe and cabrio into one debut. But Ford is evidently still intent on making its new droptop stand out. The top of the Empire State Building ought to do the trick.
Automotive history buffs may recall that, 50 years ago, Ford unveiled its first Mustang convertible atop what was then the tallest building in the world, that Art Deco icon of the New York skyline. Half a century later, Ford is recreating the feat and bringing the new topless Mustang to the same observation deck on the building's 86th floor.
Getting it up there, of course, will be no easy task. While they'd usually airlift the vehicle onto the roof or lift it by crane, the spire protruding from atop the building makes approaching the narrow observation deck too dangerous, and no mobile crane can telescope the thousand-plus feet it would take to get the pony car up there.
Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest

Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500.
