Up for sale is a 2011 Ford Escape Limited AWD. This suv was previously company owned and used in their fleet. It has 39k. Miles. It has been carefully maintained and has much life left in it. Im going to highlight this suv through three main paragraphs. They are the Exterior,Interior and Lastly the Drivetrain.

Exterior: The suv was ordered in White Suede. A very attractive color on these Escapes. The paint is in overall great shape. It has a good hard gloss still and has no dents, dings or damage. Overall I would rate it at a easy 9 on a 1-10 scale.

Interior: The suv was ordered with the Tan leather interior. The seats overall very clean and still sit well. The dash, carpet, headliner are all still clean. Every option works as it should including the sunroof, air, heat, cruise, keyless entry,cd player, etc. I am going to rate the interior at a 9.5 on a 1-10.

Drivetrain: The trustworthy 2.5L 4 cylinder Engine was ordered for this Suv. It is mated to a Automatic Transmission. Both perform as they should. There is no check engine lights or other lights present during operation. The suv drives out nice. The match set tires have roughly 75% or better tread on all 4. I would drive this vehicle to California and not think twice. I will rate the drivetrain at a 9.5 on a 1-10.

In Closing: This car is in overall very clean. There is lots of life left in this suv. Nada Shows a clean retail of over $23,000 My pricing is very fair. Note: I have a one owner title in hand. Contact me with any questions at 423-413-4478

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.

Ford's Mulally makes shortlist for Microsoft CEO

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has made the short list to take over tech giant Microsoft, lending further credence to rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would ditch Dearborn and move to Redmond.
The report comes from Reuters, which claims that alongside Mulally, former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop and three candidates from within Microsoft are on the short list to succeed Steve Ballmer at the company's helm, although previous reports claim the Ford exec is the number one candidate. Mulally is currently working without a contract, although Bill Ford seems to believe that he isn't likely to depart. Despite this belief, Ford was quoted just last month talking about the depth of talent on the Blue Oval's executive team.
"There is no change from what we announced last November. Alan remains fully focused on continuing to make progress on our One Ford plan. We do not engage in speculation," said Ford spokesman Jay Cooney.

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Lincoln is "not true luxury," according to Ford's design boss, J Mays. His statements come from a story in The Detroit News that saw candid language on the issues facing Ford's troubled premium brand. Notably, there's a need for a strong character, with Mays saying, "Every brand needs to have a DNA and a unique selling point and things in the vehicle that make you think, 'That's that particular brand.'"
With a range of rebadged Fords, it's not hard to see why that DNA is missing. Mays hinted that a full recovery for Lincoln will be a ten-year process, that's been kicked off with the MKZ sedan. While that car is still largely a Ford Fusion under its extremely pretty wrapper, it's the first Lincoln in some time to inject its own unique take both through the exterior styling and through interior features, such as the vertical, pushbutton gear selection.
Some analysts weren't so certain about Mays' 10-year estimate. Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics thinks it'll be more like 30 years before Lincoln can show a true return to form. The issue, as Hall explains it, is that, "luxury has a degree of exclusivity," that Lincoln just doesn't have. Michelle Krebs from Edmunds adds, "it's definitely a wanna-be luxury brand," comparing the troubled American brand with Infiniti and Acura, two other brands that have struggled to find their place in the luxury market.
