For sale is our well-maintained 2001 E-350 15 passenger van.

This is a fleet vehicle in South Florida and consists of mostly highway miles.  Vehicle has been in our fleet since 01/2007 and has received routine maintenance including oil changes every 3,000 miles with Lucas Oil Treatment.  Since we have owned the vehicle it has only used premium gasoline.

Recent repairs include:

@ 237,827 miles - installed new front and rear Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks

@ 244,631 miles - replaced AC compressor, manifold hoses and orifice tube

@ 248,700 miles - replaced alternator

The van was repainted in 2012 and has a nice glossy black appearance with chrome hubcaps (not pictured) that were just installed due to the loss of one of the originals.

The front tires have less than 6k miles on them, we replaced the old ones due to cracking on the sidewall just to be safe.

The interior is clean.  The headliner above the front two seats could be replaced as it is coming loose at the forward edge against the windshield but it's not urgent.

There is a full-size spare located under the rear of the vehicle and all jack components are properly stored.

The van runs strong and we are only selling it because county restrictions require vehicles to be less than a certain age.

Please email if you have any questions or require more photos.

Vehicle is sold AS IS and there is no warranty.

New UAW boss Williams talks tough, vows 'no more concessions'

Sun, 08 Jun 2014

Dennis Williams, the newly elected president of the UAW, had some tough words for American automakers in his inauguration speech at the 2014 UAW Convention, striking down the possibility of any additional concessions from the 400,000-strong union.
"No more concessions. We are tired of it. Enough is enough," Williams said during his speech. UAW employees have not received a raise in nearly 10 years, according to Reuters.
Considering the recent strong results for Ford, Chrysler and General Motors, the union's demands are likely to carry a bit more weight in next year's negotiations. And considering Williams' tough stance, we could be in for some fireworks once negotiations commence.

Ford Fiesta ST orders off to strong start

Fri, 17 May 2013

We at Autoblog love the new little Ford Fiesta ST, and apparently, folks in Europe are pretty impressed with it, as well. According to Ford, the automaker's European arm has already logged 3,000 orders for the new hot hatch since it hit dealerships this March. The US-spec car, which will only be available as a five-door, will go on sale in the United States this summer.
What's perhaps most interesting about the Fiesta ST ordering is that the majority of customers appear to be ordering high-spec cars. According to Ford data, 60 percent of customers have opted for the leather interior with Recaro buckets, and 90 percent have selected the upgraded 17-inch wheels (seen on our test car, above). Spirit Blue has been the most popular color, commanding 27 percent of all orders. As for the technology upgrades, 19 percent of customers have ponied up for the Sony stereo with navigation.
To recap, the Fiesta ST is offered with Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, putting out 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. We had an absolute blast flinging the hot Fiesta through the French Alps, and we can't wait for this sharp little hatch to make its way over to the States.

Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo

Sun, 27 Apr 2014

When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.
You'll find a reminder of Ford Australia's heyday, a raucous exhaust note and some NSFW language in the short video below.
