Up for sale is an incredible Crown Vic. This car came from Virginia originally. It was a "Law Enforcement" vehicle, meaning it has lights and sirens- though they have been disconnected (by law) This was NEVER a police cruiser. It has full leather interior and carpeting. The engine has been fitted with a Vortec V2 supercharger and a water-to-air intercooler. To accomplish this the battery was moved into the trunk, special high performance cables were used in the installation. The automatic transmission is re-programmed and a shift kit added with Royal Purple synthetic trans fluid. The rear differential is a stock 3:73 gears also using Royal Purple synthetic fluid.
The brakes have been upgraded with Cool-Stop rotors and high performance pads.
The suspension uses the stock rear air springs from Ford with the addition of ADDCO racing sway bars and bushing underneath.
The wheels are upgraded to 17" track worthy aluminum rims and BF Goodrich " A symmetrical" radials.
This car has full leather seats with power, adjustable tilt wheel AND adjustable gas and brake pedals (a limited addition add on from FORD), this car will fit any size driver!
Factory A/C that blows cold, heater that cooks and a center console that rocks. (with gauges no less)
Factory AM/FM CD with a factory 6 CD changer in the trunk, makes those long highway trips go by in a flash.
Black paint that causes drivers in front to move over for you and tinted windows to keep you cool as you roll on by.
This car has been impeccably maintained, built and driven. All fluids are Royal Purple and are changed at regular service intervals. ($$)
This car needs nothing.

2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
Ford says 70% of its models to get stop-start by 2017
Sun, 15 Dec 2013Ford is following up on a report we posted a few weeks back that the Blue Oval would be adding stop-start technology to its entire model range. Now, the Dearborn-based automaker has announced that the fuel-saving feature would be available on 70 percent of the company's range by 2017.
Ford claims the technology will improve fuel economy by around 3.5 percent, although its actual effect will vary based on how the owner drives - apparently up to a 10-percent improvement is possible for those who sit in heavy traffic (Los Angelenos, this means you). The latest recipient of the technology is the updated 2014 Ford Fiesta with the company's three-cylinder EcoBoost powerplant.
Part of the reasoning for the new addition has to do with cost. Ford claims the tech is affordable and easy to implement. "Simply put, Auto Start-Stop helps customers use less fuel, which is an important component of Ford's Blueprint for Sustainability," Ford's global powertrain vice president, Bob Fascetti, said.
Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes
Sun, 29 Dec 2013Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
