I have owned this green Bronco for almost 40 years. Actually I am the second owner.  It was a daily runner back in the 70's until I bought a 4wd pickup and relegated this Bronco to snowplow duty only. Since about 1978 it has only been used for snowplowing after deer season until spring. It didn't even leave town to go hunting. Snowplowing only for 30 odd years ( 1 to 5 friends and family driveways. Nothing commercial)........so it only has 65,000 miles and still RUNS. It has the 170 cube 6 cylinder. Obviously the body is shot. I have the real doors (missing a glass in one door, somebody borrowed it apparently). I have a clear U13 title.

There is a rollbar and a halfcab bulkhead in good shape. The tailgate looks to be in real good shape, the bottom of it is sound. The windshield has a crack (see pics) and the top is pooched down a little, not visable in pics.

The plow and pump have been removed although the bottom plow frame is still on it.  Part of the exhaust manifold gasket is missing so the engine has a bit of a bark right now.  The clutch has a chatter in it but didn't affect me because I did all my running around in low range.  Hubs work fine. The seat came out of a Mazda pickup..fit good.  There are two tires on it that were part of set of recaps I put on around 1977.....they hold air but I wouldn't take this on a highway.  It will drive onto your trailer, tho. This is located in Argonne, WI.( 7 miles north of Crandon, WI.)  Contact me for payment (cash only) and pickup (most anytime works).

Hope you can make something of it.

Call me at 715-784-0084 if you would like to inspect it. Please, phone calls only.  Thanks, Jim     Note: I have another bronco listed right now.

Mulally to stay at Ford through end of 2014 at least

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.
Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.

Ford readying 2015 F-150 drift truck for SEMA

Sun, 19 Oct 2014

Between the Mustangs you'd find in Formula D and the Fiestas in the Global and World rallycross championships, there's no shortage of Ford drift cars on the scene. But at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Blue Oval automaker intends to show off a different kind of drift machine.
Created in collaboration with driftmeister Vaughn Gittin, Jr., this custom F-150 has been designed for "on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping." It's got a suspension with components from Kibbetech King and Air Lift Performance to give it 12 inches of travel and comes packed with 5 Recaro seats. Other details remain limited, but if the rendering above is anything to go by, it ought to be pretty awesome.
Alongside the Gittin truck, Ford will also be showcasing another F-150 designed together with freestyle motorcross rider Brian Deegan, packing the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and a long list of enhancements. Between these two trucks, Ford hopes to extend its winning streak for the Hottest Truck award that it's taken four years running now. Feel free to read more in the press release below.

Ford Australia reveals updated Territory, Falcon via Twitter

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

Ford may have tied together much of its global lineup under the One Ford campaign, but one market where it still offers unique products is Australia. That will soon draw to a close as well, but before it does, the Blue Oval's Aussie operations are rolling out refreshed versions of its two unique products. For the moment, Ford isn't revealing much in the way of powertrain details, but it has shown off a couple of snaps of the revised products on its in-market Twitter feed.
First up is the new Territory. The SUV is neither based on a front-drive crossover platform nor on a truck frame, but shares its rear-drive underpinnings with the Falcon, taking it a step beyond the Falcon wagon alongside which it sits in Ford's Aussie range. Like the outgoing third-generation SZ Territory, the facelifted version is dominated by a narrow grille and larger front air dam, but further punctuates its big-chinned look with more rugged lower cladding and other metallic inserts that bring its look up to date.
And there's the Falcon, which Ford revealed in XR8 trim just last week and is now presenting in G6E spec. If the XR8 is the performance model, the G6E is the luxury version, swapping in more refined trim like a chrome-slat grille (instead of a black honeycomb), chrome foglamp surrounds, less-aggressive multi-spoke wheels (instead of five-spokes) and a flatter hood (instead of a power bulge). Otherwise, it looks essentially the same as the one we saw last week, its facelift bringing it more in line with the smaller, front-drive Mondeo (which we know here as the Fusion) and other members of the Ford family.
