I am looking to sell my 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Regular Cab Long Bed Larame 12 Valve. The truck has all of the options from factory.

-Automatic Transmission
-Power Windows
-Power Locks
-Power Mirrors

This truck has a near perfect interior. The seat is not ripped!

Currently the truck has 255K miles on it. I dont use the truck that much and I could use the extra parking room in the garage. The truck had thousands of dollars in body work by the previous owner.  The truck came from MD so there is no rust on it at all. The truck was repainted professionally mineral gray. It looks amazing, people ask me all the time how much money do I have in the truck it looks great.

There are really no big dents I dont see really any deep scratches in the paint.  However is is a truck and it was used as one.  So please do not expect it to look like it would have in 1995 inside the showroom.

-Lifted 3.5" with springs
-Late model laramie 17 aluminum wheels
-33" Tires
-Sony CD Deck
-AEM Intake
-Sprayed in bed liner
-KDP Tabbed with cummins parts
-Cummins Front Main Seal (Installed 1K miles ago)
-Cummins Timing Cover Seal (Installed 1K miles ago)
-Gates Water Pump (Installed 1K miles ago)
-Recent Oil Change
-4" Exhaust with a 51" donaldson muffler

The transmission must have been rebuilt by the previous owner because it shifts perfect. I have always been leeary of the dodge auto's, but it shifts just like my 47re did after it was rebuilt in my previous 03.

Things I have for the truck:
-Cammo seat covers (They are fitted and are nice, they came with the truck, however I dont use them)
-2 Oil Filters
-2 Fuel Filters

This truck starts instantly, even in the recent 30 degree temps.

Bad things:
-Dash is cracked like every other 2nd gen I have seen
-Drips 2 small drips when you go for a long ride and park it. I guess it is normal from what other 12 valve guys say.
-Horn does not work.  The good news is there is correct power at the horn.  It just needs a new horn.

I have receipts for thousands of dollars worth of work to this truck. I also have the original window sticker. I also have a clean NYS title for the truck.  The truck is currently on the road.  The tool box does not go with the truck.  It was a gift to me so please dont ask if I can include it.

Here are more pictures from the previous owner of the truck a few months ago when I purchased it:

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...

Coal-rolling Ram dually does tandem beer-shooting burnout with ATV in bed

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

Sometimes a video comes around that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. Take for example these guys from Nebraska in their dually diesel flatbed Ram, doing a smoky burnout. Lighting up the tires is nothing new, but these folks take things a step further by having another guy on an ATV in bed that is also smoking the tires. Finally, people are sitting on a couch in the bed taking the whole show in, as beer cans shoot out of the stacks.
There have been several stories recently about the scourge of rolling coal, i.e., diesel trucks modified to lay down a thick, black smoke screen, sometimes for vaguely political reasons. Whatever your opinion is on it, breathing in this much nasty stuff isn't exactly great for your health. Of course, it turns out that burning rubber is pretty awful, too. Both diesel and tire emissions contain cancer-causing Group 1 carcinogens. Combine them with the cigarette smoking here, and these guys are an oncologist's nightmare. Scroll down to take it all in for yourself. Warning, there is a little explicit language.

Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.
