This is a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport. This truck is in great condition and has been my daily driver for the past 6 years. It has 162,000 miles on it, when I bought it it had 93,000, the miles I put on it are mostly highway, I work 35 miles from my house, so its 70 miles round trip per day, all highway (my house is 1/4 mile off the highway and my job is 1/4 mile off the highway). This truck looks, runs and shifts great with no problems mechanically. I would'nt hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. It has not been abused in the time I had it, no offroading, no towing. The paint on the truck is in great shape with only a few minor dings and scratches. The truck has a 2.5" lift kit with 285/75/16 (33" tall) Maxxis tires on it. It has a Kenwood Excelon stereo with CD player, Ipod controls, Kenwood speakers all around. It has a spray in bedliner (Xtream Liners), tow hitch, nerf bars, HID headlights. A/C blows cold. The only problems are a little rust on the bottom of the drivers door, paint on hood a little faded, small rip on the side of the drivers seat and a couple cracks in the dash, small rock chip in the windshield (repaired). There is no other rust on the truck, the rockers are solid, passenger door solid, cab corners solid, wheel wells solid. This truck is very solid and tight, no squeaks or rattles, you would never know by looking at or driving it that it has 162k on it. It also has a remote start.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat revving is sonic bacon
Fri, 23 May 2014This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.
Of course, you should be the final judge here. Take a look and a listen at the two videos below, one of which comes from our friends at Cars.com that provides a nice look under the hood, and then let us know what you think of the Hellcat's singing voice in Comments.
Fiat-Chrysler shows its SEMA lineup
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles already previewed its 2014 SEMA show lineup with some slick renders. Now, the automaker has finally showed us the actual cars, and among the group there are definitely some that stand out more than others.
Dodge is really showing off its muscle at this year's show with four concepts that all pump up the power of the brand's models. Perhaps most interesting among them is the Challenger T/A Concept (pictured above) in striking Sublime Green and matte black. It's meant to resemble the classic Trans Am racer from the '70s. Under the hood is a 6.4-liter V8, and to fit the vintage style there's a pistol-grip gearshift inside.
The Charger R/T also gets some attention with the Mopar concept that shows off what FCA's aftermarket performance arm can do. Mods include an updated body kit, cold-air intake for the 5.7-liter V8 and a coil-over suspension kit. Beyond that, the Dart R/T Concept looks a lot meaner with a black hood with duct work that leads straight to the air intake. The rest of the compact sedan is dolled up in O-So-Orange paint and is fitted with upgrades to improve handling like a coil-over suspension and big brake kit from the Mopar catalog.
Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?
Thu, 13 Jun 2013Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
