1956 US Military issued truck. Fresh painted with Nason metal flake olive drab. No rust. Has 350 chevy motor built by performance auto, performance cam, double roller timer chain, bored out 90 over new pistons, rings. Rebuilt heads and many many extras. Remanufactured 700 R4 automatic overhaul transmission. Nearly complete restoration. Bed measures 7 foot 6 in wide by 11 foot 8 in long. Bed wood is antique locust cut in Cedar Falls, Ia in 1976 that was weathered. Excellent truck for business promotion. This is a very rare truck and very hard to find as not many H series were sold to the us government. No one I have talked to has ever seen one like it. The guy I bought this truck from said it was from a military post in Texas, I think that is why it had no rust. It had only 3 little dents at time of restoration. It was a very straight truck to start with. I have found it to be the center of attention at the 4th street cruse and show and shine and other events I have had it at including big truck and tractor shows.

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.

There are hundreds of vehicles up for bidding, ranging from a brand-new Lamborghini Aventador to a spattering of Art Deco classics and a huge swath of classic muscle cars.
While it's virtually impossible to assemble an inarguable list of the best cars coming during the three-day, 700-plus vehicle auction, we've sifted through the listings for this year's show - it was a tough assignment, we promise - and assembled a list of what we think will be some of the most interesting lots.
