Will update with more photos soon
This is a 2001 dodge dakota with the 5.9 (360) engine.
It is a stock engine with appox. 56k miles.
Installed in July to sell the truck. The engine has a one year warranty on it.
Which started last month. Will provide with the paper work.

The truck had a built motor, but I am going to use that in my dakota shelby project.

Truck is well taken care of. I am a non-smoker and only drive to work and back home, a 5 min. drive.
There is only one small cigarette burn the driver seat from previous owner.
Otherwise the cloth interior is in excellent shape.
Dash and other panels also in excellent shape.
Radio/cassette player work, Cd player doesn't work ( my 2yr. old put pennies in the cd tray)
Has nice audio system, Infinity brand.

All four doors open and shut properly.
Doesn't have key fob.
Does have electronic windows, a/c and heat.  Doors are manual lock.
But you can open the front two doors with the turn of the one drivers side key.

Transmission shifts smoothly, no problems at all.
It is an automatic transmission.
Rear end I upgraded to a limited slip differential with the 3.92 gears
and it has 3'' drop blocks and front springs.

Exterior is an 8 out of 10
small ding in the tailgate.
and very few chips in paint, not on the body, but one fender flare and one on the front bumper.
Clear coat is in great shape, no problems at all.  Though the bed cover doesn't shine as bright as the
clear on the rest of the truck.  It still matches paint wise and you cant tell unless you are right up on it.
it is an ARE fiberglass cover, and a bed liner is in the bed of the truck too.

Engine bay is pretty clean. I've done some paint and clear work in there.
The engine isn't very clean, I just dropped it in, since it is just a stock motor, not to much
work to do to dress it up. It has an old school 5.2 L air filter system, just like the style better.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.

Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks

Sat, 09 Nov 2013

Chrysler has announced that it will issue three separate recalls that will cover as many as 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for "steering-system tie rods that may have been misaligned during assembly or steering-system service." The vast majority of these trucks were sold in the United States, though some trucks in Mexico, Canada or overseas will be called in, as well.
The largest of the three recalls covers an estimated 842,400 model-year 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Two smaller campaigns will bring 294,000 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, chassis cabs and 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 Mega Cabs; plus 43,500 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 4x4 chassis cabs into the dealer to be checked and repaired if necessary.
This is a very large recall, and Chrysler says it is "casting the net wider than necessary to identify those vehicles that require repair." The automaker estimates that "as many as 726,000 may not need repair."

Dodge Dart getting hatchback variant... sort of

Thu, 25 Apr 2013

In other parts of the world, Fiat builds and sells a version of the Dodge Dart called the Viaggio, and it appears that in addition to the current sedan bodystyle, a new hatchback version of the car is also in the works. Autocar says that the general manager for China's Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture, John Burton, has confirmed that a new Viaggio hatchback will be revealed by the end of this year before it goes on sale in early 2014.
The Viaggio will soon be joined by the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which in China will be called the Liberty Light, at the Guangzhou-Fiat plant. While the idea of a Dodge Dart hatchback might be enough to enable most of us to forget about the Dodge Caliber, a North American variant doesn't appear to be in the cards. We reached out to Chrysler PR boss Rick Deneau, and he offered a succinct: "No plans at this time."
