2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2 4l Great On Gas. on 2040-cars

Year:2002 Mileage:127000

Burbank, California, United States

Hello,

I`m the third owner of this car. Engine is 2,4L DOHC 4 cylinders Automatic. Great on Gas!

Convertable top is a Tan color so it doesn`t heat up inside on a sunny hot day.

Ive priced the car based on the fact Ive changed every 4 belts(including Timing Belt ) All New. The transmission oil has been fully changed into Full synthetic ATF oil for selling, the car battery is also brand New.

This car is super economical and a very smooth ride. No need to worry about big tuning up cost for the next 100,000 miles.

(Engine) I always use Full Synthtic motor oil. I recomend you keep on using it, and ViX oil filter.
It uses a K&N performance Air filter.(It`s an expensive air filter, but it makes for great performance on the engine and you can reuse it many time after washing.

When the ignision key is on the on position, the oil light and engine light are on in a main panel since years ago.(It`s turns off immediately off when the engine is ON) The OBD2 cord machine doesn`t show any problem and running is PERFECT. Also, sometimes the "AIR BAG" light is on while driving. These lights seems to maybe be a connecting issue of electricallines. Its not an issue.

If your worried about it I can go with to you a Pep Boy shop to do a free OBD2 code check. Ive prevously had it checked and it passed with flying colors.

It has some tiny paint tips and fading exist, but you can`t find it without looking for it.

There is damage on top fablic, but No leaks at all and it was sewn and patched from inside by a Pro Leather shop. This is a very minor damage and really not noticable.

(Premir audio ) You can listen MP3 in a CD.The front display comes out for thief protection. There is an AUX line which you can connet with your iPOD also.Sound is amaging. You don`t need to think changing the Audio and the speakers at all.
(Tires) Still great condition. I purchased 4 New Michelin tires 2 years ago. Because Ive purchased them at Costco you can get free air on your tire whenever you want. This inclueds free tires rotation when needed.

Number plats are New since this month. Ive just changed it for selling because it`s more shinny and clean.

The car also has power windows, cruze control, and air conditioner works perfect.

It has 2 remote open lock door keys and security alarm and so on.

(My opinion)This car is the best convertible car Chrysler made. I like this design so much better than their latest one.

So, a hot summer is comming and running PCH with the top down with a white convertible is everybody`s kind of fun and a great way to release stress.

This car is not going to disappoint you!

P.S

The registration is coming soon, June 24th.I need a buyer who can go to DMV or AAA before 24th with the pink slip.

Italian government to lean on Fiat's Marchionne to commit to country

Sun, 26 May 2013

With the recent chatter that Fiat is looking to move its global headquarters to the US following a complete merger with Chrysler, the Italian government is voicing its opinion on the matter. Facing the potential job loss from the automaker leaving the country, Italy's industry minister is meeting with Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne in what will likely be a plea to keep the company based in Turin rather than moving to Auburn Hills, MI - if indeed it is able to acquire the additional 41.5 percent of Chrysler currently owned by the United Auto Workers.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat is Italy's biggest private employer and unemployment is already nearing a 20-year high. The non-car side of Fiat, Fiat Industrial, is already planning a move to the UK, so it goes without saying that Fiat moving would be a pretty big blow for the Italian economy. In the article, Fiat says that the headquarters issue is "not on its agenda now," but that statement is far from a denial.

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.

Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
