I am selling my 2008 Trailblazer SS with 34K adult driven miles on it.I am the original owner and special ordered this in black granite with the 3SS package. It is hard loaded with AWD,Navigation,Heated Seats,Power Sunroof,Multi Disc, and Rear Dvd entertainment system with a set of wireless headphones that have never been used. The rear seats have hardly been used,no kids no food or drink.I am only selling this because I bought my Father a new car and he has taken ill and can no longer drive so I will keep his new car. This SS has been serviced every 7500 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and tire rotation. It has never been launched or tracked<adult driven only by me.Now lets talk about the issues found in the carfax. In 2008 a kid ran into my front bumper with his bike and there was not even a scuff on my bumper but a police report was filed because he tried to put a claim in against my insurance,He got nothing..The second issue found was a car who lightly scraped the right front fender traveling about 2mph pulling out of a church parking lot.ABSOLUTLEY no damage other than cosmetic which was repaired perfectly. This SS runs perfect with zero mechanical issues and I have taken excellent care of it,just waiting for another caring owner. The KBB Private Party value is $26,000 plus,It will need new tires and brakes soon so taking that into consideration along with the carfax I am selling at a great price, this really is a great vechicle,no disappointments.Any and all transactions will have to be certified bank check or cash, when the check clears I will sign over the title,no exceptions.Thankyou for your time and consideration. Please serious buyers only,I will not respond to lo ball offers,Thankyou...

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.
Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
