I bought the truck new and have had it maintained by the dealer.  I had a cap custom made by Aluma Cap.  It is a little over 6' high inside.  The cap has two doors in the back and a fan on top.  I paid over 2k to have this built.  The cap is currently not on the truck but can be installed  when purchased.  The bed currently has a Tonneau cover and the bed is carpeted inside.  The truck has low mileage for a 2007.  It has 52,500 miles on it.  It runs and drives fine.  I tried to get many pictures to show the best I can.  It does have a scratch on the front bumper, a dent on drivers side and the 2500 has a few numerals missing on the drivers side which I have but didnt replace them.  It has a class 3 tow hitch and a brake contoller.  I have not smoked in the truck and the interior is in good shape.   I am selling because I have another vehicle that I use and don't need the truck anymore.  If you are local you can see the truck.  If you need it checked over and have someone locally I can assist.  May be able to help with delivery for a fee.  Please ask questions early if you have any.  This is a good truck that some exterior blemishes but runs fine.  May make a good work truck with the cap or a possible camper.  Thanks for looking!

2014 Chevrolet Impala [w/video]

Can A Fleet Queen Become a Fullsize King?
On paper, the Chevrolet Impala is a pretty strong seller, posting annual sales that have hovered right around 170,000 units for the last two years, but it only takes one trip to practically any rental car agency to discover where the majority of those sales have come from. In fact, General Motors told Autoblog that a full 70 percent of Impala sales last year went to fleet companies for things like rental cars and government vehicles. Logic tells us that this is neither good for resale values nor name equity, so Chevrolet is getting ready to roll out an all-new Impala with improved comfort, styling and technology, hoping to turn the tables on its retail-to-fleet ratio.
Chevrolet's sedans have come on quite strong in the last few months with the introduction of the Cruze diesel and the SS sedan, but while these will likely be low-volume sellers, there's more pressure for the new Impala to perform well as GM looks to slash fleet sales and compete with the wide variety of full-size sub-luxury sedans. Riding on a platform shared with the Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac XTS, the 2014 Impala will compete against the Hyundai Azera, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon on the more traditional side, while also looking to take a bite out of somewhat sportier models like the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger twins and the Nissan Maxima. We headed to sunny San Diego to see if this totally new Impala can stand on its own without the assistance of fleet companies and rental agencies. [w/video

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
