Here today to sell honestly one of the cleanest 96 Impalas online. Its nearly mint condition, you would not think this car was over 16 years old. For starters for the most part this car is almost 100% original, I purchased off the original owner who was a 71 year old man. The car has 103k original miles, low for a 96 but at that they are all highway miles. Previous owner had several businesses and would travel from Phoenix Arizona to Los Angeles constantly. This was his highway cruiser. The paint is original from 96 but looks almost new, it was garaged and waxed its whole life. Interior is also in great shape with no tears. Honestly this car looks as if it had less then 40k miles on it. I added a clean set of 22s they cost 2k plus new to make it my weekend cruiser. Mechanically and cosmetically this car is in excellent shape. You can eat off the engine bay! First serious person that sees it will want to buy. Recently smogged so if purchased within 3 months you wont have to pay for smog. Clean tittle on hand, private seller. Basically only issue this car has is odometer comes off sometimes, very common small issue. Easy fix. Clean auto history report.

Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
