Hi you are looking at a very nice ORIGINAL 1968 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS that has been over the years transformed into the legendary 1968 Impala SS 427. This CLONE was a life long effort by one dedicated owner over a 25 year period of time. This is a 427 CLONE, and A ORIGINAL SS CAR. AGAIN THIS IS A 427 CLONE that was done with great attention to detail. The big block 427 engine and matching 3 speed hydromatic transmission are era correct, all the 427 badging around the outside of the car is in the proper place to match the original car. The only thing missing to complete the job is the 3 chrome fender fins that were mounted in the back side of the front fenders and the hood hump that was standard on the original 427 cars. This is a VERY NICE daily driver with mostly original chrome that also is nice for its age.The interior is also very nice and mostly original with the proper SS and 427 emblems in all the right places.. The convertible top is new looking and goes up and down electronically with the touch of a button, and comes with the color matching parade tonuue cover. The Impala goes down the road straight and smooth and the 427 has plenty of low end V8 power. There is no smoke, engine noise, or any problems with this car. The paint is very The paint is shinny and looks very good from any distance , also the body is very straight with no bad body work or paint work and the body is rust free. The car was originally from Texas when bought new and then sat in a underground heated and air conditioned garage so the underside frame and body panels are not rusty and look original. The underside has a little bit of original dirt scale but an easy cleaning job will make the underside clean and ready for show detailing. All the jack equipment and spare tire are present along with some miscellaneous repair manuals. The brakes, factory rally wheels and tires are in good condition and the car can be driven away with no known problems. Overall I would say that this Impala SS is a VERY nice daily driver that with a little bit of detail would be a very nice car to take to shows on weekends or cruise on hot summer nights.and will maintain or increase in value in the future. I also have the original owners manual and PROTECTO PLATE

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced
2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
