1954 Chevrolet Corvette 1954 Corvette 1953 1955 Ncrs Project C1 on 2040-cars

Feel free to ask me any questions about the car : blairbookolo@ukpals.com .
1954 Corvette. This car is one of only 300 made in Pennant blue. Although the
majority of the car has been striped to the bare glass (appears to be a no hit body), The car still shows its
original color in many places. 1954 Pennant blue was the only color that was available with tan interior. The trunk
area, door jambs and steering column clearly show the car is a true blue/tan car. The car has spent the past 25
years in a southern California warehouse. The frame is solid and clean with NO rot. The body has never been
separated from the chassis. Correct and original 241' head and F54 block, the carbs all have the original tags
also. The 63 corvette hubcaps are not original. The trunk is loaded with all the high $$ rare parts. The few thing
I noted to be missing are 1 exhaust tip, 1 wiper arm, the upper ignition shield and the tach. The clock and spedo
were missing, but I have included both correct and rebuilt. On a side note, The seat cushions were MIA when I got
the car (That is why they are red). Not to confuse the originality of the car. Also, a Very, Very rare hardtop,
side curtain windows and original AM radio/power pac are included.

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
