Body/Paint: The body is in excellent condition. Primo gaps with excellent body prep and finish. The body has 6
coats of primer (poly urethane) blocked in between every coat. The paint is base clear 2013 Corvette blue with 4
coats of clear. Color sanded to a mirror finish. The body is super straight with excellent finish work.
Top: Hi quality tan cloth top with restored frame. Folds up and work perfectly.
Interior: The interior is very nicely done with custom steering wheel, electric windows (orig), Tilt column,
restored gauges using electric tach and cable driven speedo all by clocks by Roger. All gauges in new condition.
Seats are original frame using new foam and leather. Original style carpet, vintage air that blow cold, quartz
clock, digital radio with rear speaker set up and iPod/MP3 ready with blue tooth. Power steering and hydraulic
clutch.
Running Gear: New high performance 2012 crate LS1, 410 horse with Camaro serpentine pulley system designed for
midyear Corvette applications. Built buy Turn Key Corp. Camaro oil pan. Ceramic coated headers, computer and
wiring harness. HD aluminum radiator with dual fans. Runs cool. Transmission is a new Tremac TKO 0600 5 speed.
The rear end is stock restored with 370 gear and posi. Runs 2K RPM at 70 MPH. Electric fuel pump with adjustable
gauge located in the engine compartment.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
Automakers score 8 out of top 20 most-watched ads on YouTube [w/videos]
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Who would have ever thought there'd be a day where people are able to skip television commercials only to go to websites to watch them later? Such is the joy of a DVR and YouTube. AdWeek tabulated the 20 most-watched ads on YouTube, and found that nine were car-related including eight coming from automakers.
Volkswagen continued its Star Wars theme with two ads in the top 20, including the highest-ranking car commercial The Bark Side spot at number three with almost 18 million views, which doesn't even have a single car in it. Some of our favorites are from Chrysler with Clint Eastwood in It's Halftime in America and House Arrest with Charlie Sheen for the Fiat 500 Abarth. Chevrolet, Honda, Audi and Toyota were the other automakers in the top 20, but we'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention one of the coolest ads on the list, the Hot Wheels corkscrew jump.
Of all the car videos, only the Fiat ad wasn't played during a Super Bowl. Check out all eight videos - in order - after the jump. Nike took the top spot with its My Time is Now ad that has been seen online more than 20 million times with Pepsi's Uncle Drew posted up in the runner-up; some of the other videos include four Old Spice commercials and an ad in which Snoop Dogg is pedaling Hot Pockets.
