1969 Chevelle SS 396. Vehicle currently has 454ci engine (casting # 3999289) with rectangular port heads,Winters aluminum intake manifold and Edlebrock carb. Black on black in good condition. The body has straight sheet metal and no rust (except small dime-size spot at the corner of the rear glass - see photo). The car has 4 speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, console and rally guages. It has SS wheels with Goodyear Eagle ST tires. I recently replaced the exaust with new flowmaster mufflers and pipes. The car looks good and runs well. It has been repainted many years ago. The paint still looks good, but has a few blemishes. The car is a nice driver and a great cruise-in vehicle but is not a Barrett Jackson quality car. I have the original bill of sale and the protect-o-plate, but no build sheet.The car shows 61,000 miles but I don't know the true mileage. The car has a clear a title and can be seen upon request. Vehicle is sold "as is".

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option

Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
