I have a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro for sale or possible trade. Car runs good, has 3.8L V6 motor, 4 wheel ABS, American Racing alloy wheels, gound effects pkg., Pioneer AM/FM/CD tuner with remote, interior is in good condition, one small tear in driver's seat shown in picture, the top dash plastic has cracks, common for this vehicle, a $40 dash pad would hide that, small crack in bottom of windshield again shown in picture. A/C works but has a leak somewhere. All in all, the car looks good, no rust issues, would make a great daily driver/student car or whatever you want it to be. The V6 has plenty of pep without breaking the bank on gas. I urge you to come look at car in person, if possible. Vehicle located in Sarasota, Fl.

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out
Thu, 29 Apr 2010Chevrolet Camaro goes to South Korea - Click above for high-res image
General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video
Mon, 11 Feb 2013If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
