Selling my 89 Chevy Camaro. Has a ZZ430 Clone Motor with LT4 cam kit (rated at 430HP) with 1600 miles on it. Auto 700R4 trans which was just rebuilt in August with only 500 miles on it. Holley 650 Carb, MSD iginiton, Hooker Super Comp headers to a 4" exhaust pipe with a Spintech muffler. T-Tops with no cracks. 16" Centerline rims with 225/50/ZR16 in the front and 245/50/16 Nitto Street slicks in the rear. I also have a pair of brand new tires for the rear. Sub frame connectors, new suspension, leather interior with B&M slap shifter, adjustable shift light and much more. The car does not leak a single drop of fluid, runs and drives perfect. The paint was done last year and is not perfect. Has paint peeling on the bumpers. It's a Sunburt Orange.

The car does not have heat, a/c, or wipers. Turn signals only work when the switch is moved manually with your hands. The vehicles odometer is unknown but the last owner told me it was 91,000 miles on the body. The odometer is off by 10MPH. This is a weekend cruiser, not a daily driver.

The vehicle is registered in MI but I am currently living in NJ due to work. Buyer will have to provide their own shipping. Title will be released after FULL payment.

Idling. The white smoke is from the cold. Video was taken in the winter

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
