1989 Camaro Shell, rolling shell. This car has no motor or transmission. Buyer is bidding on the car AS IS!! I bought this car from a friend years ago and it has sat in his garage since. The shell is a little rough and will need some restoration. The pictures will do most of the talking as I do not know too much about the history of the car. The outside seems pretty solid. The door handles and has gap have been shaved by an owner in the past. No weather stripping anywhere on car. It sits on a set of mismatched wheels to allow it role around. Body seems to be in great shape for the year. Interior is a little rough due to the elements being able to reach the inside in the past. Thus being said, the car will need to be gutted from the inside out. Inside the car are a ton of random parts. I do not know what all lays inside. NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION WITH THIS CAR!!!!! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP CAR. NO SHIPPING!!!!!!!!

GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.
