1968 Camaro SS

This is a beautifully restored 1968 "Triple Black" Camaro SS.  You'll be hard pressed to find one nicer than this.  No expense was spared on the recent restoration.  The car belongs to a friend of mine who owns many top shelf, show quality classics.  He recently picked up another car and is looking to free up some space to fit the new addition.  He loves this car, but one of them had to go.

The next lucky owner will be the recipient of a vehicle that has been meticuliously cared for and built with perfection in mind.  This is a SHOW QUALITY car that will not disappoint.  The paint and entire interior, both professionally done locally by the best shops in town, are new within the last month.  The engine and drivetrain rebuild was done 3,000 miles ago.  It runs and sounds incredible with no issues mechanically or cosmetically.

She is a TRUE Super Sport with non-matching numbers engine and drivetrain.

* ALL NEW Deluxe black houndstooth interior
* Console gauges
* Tic-Tac-Toc
* BRAND NEW professional paint
* BRAND NEW correct black vinyl top
* Interior completely BRAND NEW with high-end Restrosound Stereo with Bluetooth capabilities
* Silver Rally Wheels with new BFGoodrich T/A Radials
* Detailed engine compartment with polished aluminum valve covers and air cleaner
* Factory A/C (works great)
* Polished aluminum dual fan radiator
* Original Protecto-Plate and original new owner Warranty booklet included in sale
* Build sheet on the engine and receipts available

If you've ever wanted a triple black TRUE SS Camaro that turns heads and draws a crowd at any show then this is it.  You couldn't come close to building this car for what the fair reserve is set at.

Housekeeping:
The owner is happy to talk with serious buyers on the phone to discuss the car in more detail and answer any questions.  Please ask all questions before bidding and have financing, and significant other's permission, in place before bidding.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but we will do all we can on our end to make things go smoothly with your transport.  Car is located in Springville, Utah.  Although the car is in top notch condition, mechanically and cosmetically, it goes without saying that this is an AS IS sale with no warranty expressed or implied.  My friend is a very picky, meticulous, and serious collector / enthusiast who as you can see takes great pride in his cars.

Bid to win and Good Luck !!

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
