Up for auction our 1972 Chevy Custom 10 factory 4x4 SWB short bed truck. You can find long bed factory 4x4's all day, but the short beds are hard to find & expensive when restored. This one has a small 2" or 3" body lift; sliding back glass; doors open & shut good; lock-in/lock-out hubs; plastic bedliner; tires good but has a little dry rot; complete exhaust from manifold to dual exhausts; newly rebuilt 350 automatic transmission; newly rebuilt transfer case; weatherstripping & rubber good; power brakes; power steering; all glass is good except for small chip in windshield; good floor pans; good rockers; good bed. Engine is a 1970 Chevy Truck motor; 4 bolt main; 4 barrel; original point & distributor; running when removed & in garage since 2012; stamped GM 3970014. Slimline bed cover goes with it. It is the older style with the hinged back section. This truck has a good clear NC title. You will get the notarized title & bill of sale with the vehicle. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside.
