I'm proud to unveil this incredible classic. This pickup was frame off restored in 2007 (photography included) with a mild freshening in late 2013. It has been garaged since restoration and driven every 5 to 8 weeks to compete in Arizona's classic auto and truck shows.

It is equipped with a humming 425 horsepower / 355 c.i.d. V8 which means 350 bored .030 over with Trick Flow aluminum heads, aluminum intake, Headman jet coated big tube headers, 4 barrel carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, 69 Z28 aluminum finned valve covers and chrome air cleaner. It is rated at 425 horse power that is delivered through a high performance Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Power steering and front disc brakes were added. The motor compartment is show quality with nice details and a polished A/C compressor.

This truck also features a very solid, body with mirror-like DuPont paint, steel cowl hood, Super Sport inspired accent stripes, custom hidden latch tailgate, custom molded front/rear roll pans, and a beautiful oak bed.

The skid strips and hardware for the bed are stainless through out, including the fuel cell. The professionally lowered suspension rides on new chrome Coy C5 wheels that are 18/20 inch combo with P235/55R18 up front and P295/45R20 out back. All new wiring includes, front, rear, engine, and dash harnesses. The most stunning feature is the full customized interior. Perfectly matching and custom made. A custom cut console, new seat belts, custom floor mats, custom door panels, wood steering wheel, Sony CD sound system, A/C, and a column mounted tachometer are great options.

The chassis is nice and shows well. The aluminum exhaust exits through very tastefully done tips peaking out from under the custom rear valance. This short bed is a show stopper. Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours were spent to bring you this fine truck. I spent close to two times the reserve price to make this truck the classic you see today. I hope you enjoy, let me know if you have any questions.

Shipping:
I will be more than happy to assist with shipping. From my experience, the cost is normally $1,100 to $2,000 to ship across the USA. It depends on your location and whether you would like your vehicle enclosed. Just let me know and I can contact carriers for a quote. If you have any questions, please message me.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
