Installed a Tuned Port Fuel Injection System by “First”, a matching electronic ignition and featuring a performance access port (2007);
Installed a Crane truck cam and lifters (2007), and a Modine aluminum radiator and all associated parts (2007);
Installed a Hedman ‘block hugger’ header system and high volume exhaust system (2007);
Installed a K&N (E-1009) air exchange system and improved air flow into the engine compartment.

2. Factory equipment:

Positive traction rear end; Power steering unit (replaced 2007); Bow-tie-radio cassette (replaced 2013); Windshield wiper and washer system (replaced 2012); Master cylinder and all components ( replaced 2013); Transfer case and drive shaft (Macy’s in Martinez) replaced 2013; 700R4 automatic transmission drive shaft, Corvette power converter (Trans Pro Walnut Creek) (in2012); Warn hubs and front disk brakes; new bumpers, lights, tachometer protecting cover over windshield wiper/washer assembly, new steering wheel, dash lights, padded dash, glove box, etc.

Miscellaneous: Two owner California vehicle – blue vinyl front bucket electric seats and console, blue vinyl back bench seat and blue carpet front and back, towing hitches, etc.

Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors

As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
