1979 Cadillac Seville on 2040-cars
Salisbury, North Carolina, United States
1979 Cadillac Seville One owner California car (San Francisco) Rare color combination Even more rare factory sunroof Original 75,000 mile car The car is in nice condition except the roof where the transport company (DAS) damaged it. See pictures. I had the car shipped to North Carolina. They must have had it on the bottom and let the trailer hit it from above. I bought it from a guy in California that bought it from the estate of the original owner. It was still in their name with the estate paperwork when I got it. The engine has been converted from fuel injection to a quadrajet carburetor and runs great. It has been repainted at some point years ago but still looks good. It has a few dings and chips other then the roof dents from the transport company. Everything but the windshield wipers work, even the AC. I haven't spent anytime looking at it but I don't think it could be much. Might even be a fuse. Please call me with any questions Lee @704-202-7437 |

2015 Cadillac Escalade
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Cadillac has been an interesting story in the auto industry over the past several years. Its comeback bid may be well over a decade old, but it's only recently that the Wreath and Crest has transformed from the auto industry's retirement home into its hot new thing. Today's Cadillac is a powerful marque working to instill passionate design, sound driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology into each model it builds, with vehicles like the ATS and redesigned CTS leading the charge.
Now, its latest model has arrived. This fourth-generation Escalade is among the most important new Cadillacs since the division's renaissance kicked into high gear. It's the brand's de facto flagship, and the first vehicle many young people think of when hearing the name "Cadillac." In the past, the Escalade was the chosen vehicle of the rich, flashy and famous. It's suffered over the past few years, though, particularly as new and more luxurious competitors have come to the fore.
With this latest redesign, General Motors is aiming to retake the spotlight as purveyors of the market's premier luxury SUV. To find out if it's been successful, I ventured down to the South Carolina Lowcountry to test the all-new 2015 Escalade.
Cadillac highlights craftsmanship in latest Escalade teaser videos
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Cadillac, in case you haven't heard, is unveiling the new Escalade on October 7, completing the redesign of General Motors' large SUV range. The event is proceeding with the regular degree of "teasers" and "leaked images" that is typical of the automotive world, nowadays.
As the new Escalade's reveal date grows closer, Cadillac is trumping up interest for the new SUV, debuting five short teaser videos on its YouTube channel. While not showing much about the Escalade itself, the spots reveal plenty about its materials. Real wood and hand-stitched leather are highlighted, while we get another glimpse of the Escalade's vertically oriented headlights. Take a look below for all five spots.

Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
