Up for bid is a Beautiful Dark Plum 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. I am listing this car because we are in need of a High Top Conversion Van. The paint, is shinny, but there are some areas that are faded. on the trunk lid where a small spot of clear coat is pealing, and on the passenger side between the door post, Vinyl top is fair, just sun burn, leather upholstery is good except for a small tear near driver's power seat control, and there are some small dings on the hood and passenger door mirror case is cracked on the top. the very top of the dash pad is sun cracked, The original mileage on the car is 182,530 but the engine and transmission have been rebuilt back in 2010 and the miles on the engine and transmission is 47,522 The Cadillac has just had a full complete detail job, has full power, factory trailer towing package, full size spare tire, NEW HEAVY DUTY GAS SHOCKS, NEW FUEL FILTER, new fuel pump, NEW TIMING CHAIN, RECENT TUNE UP, COMPLETE TRANSMISSION REBUILD, NEVER ABUSED!! J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Is this the 2014-15 Cadillac Escalade?
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Following the introduction of the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, we're expecting General Motors won't wait too much longer to show off the next-generation fullsize SUVs that share this platform - including the Cadillac Escalade. It's still not clear if the next Escalade will debut for the 2014 or 2015 model years, but Carscoops has what it claims to an exclusive first look of the new Cadillac, revealing a portion of the headlight, front fascia and wheel.
Judging from this small picture, it looks like the Escalade could incorporate styling cues that we've seen on new Cadillac models like the ELR and the 2014 CTS, but that article says that other design details could include tall, vertical taillights similar to the CTS Wagon, staggered-width wheels and a narrower daylight opening for the side windows. The last time we saw the fourth-generation 'Slade back in October in spy shots, the heavy camouflage prevented us from getting an idea of the luxury SUV's appearance, but this image and description gives us something to look forward to. The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
