Nice original unrestored 1963 California black plate Cadillac Fleetwood with 106,788 miles. This is the same style car used in Carrie Underwood's "Two Black Cadillacs" video. This car has always been garaged. Runs great and rides like a Cadillac should. Strong and smooth 390 with original Carter 4 barrel carb. Transmission shifts smooth and all the gages, lights and signals work. All glass is in great shape and all the power windows work. Dash is original and not cracked. Top is not weather checked or torn. Paint is in good shape with some bubbles in the rear driver's side door from age. No rust or rot in the rocker panels, fenders or doors. Everything is original with no modifications so as you might expect from a 51 year old car things like the window rubbers are getting hard restricting the movement of the wing windows. Trunk compartment is like new with rarely seen original jacking instruction placard on deck lid along with spare cover and jack. Interior is showing its age with the original seat upholstery brittle from age a bit and the front seat is torn in the center. Headliner is in good shape as is carpet. Dash is awesome with original AM FM radio. New rear tires. These cars have two in line mufflers and the first one is rotten and needs replaced. This car is titled in my name and everything is current and clear. Reasonable reserve to allow room for the next owner to put their own touch on it and enjoy. Open to offers and questions.

GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
GM delivers best Q3 sales since 1980, 2.4M vehicles sold

Even after registering over 70 recalls through the first three-quarters of 2014, General Motors saw its best Q3 results since Jimmy Carter was in the White House, registering over 2.4 million global sales between June and September on the back of strong results in the US and China.
US sales were marshaled by good results for GM's pickups, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which bumped the manufacturer's truck market share to 35.6 percent, up nearly three points from Q1 2014. Buick has seen healthy growth as well, with the Encore dominating its segment for the sixth month running.
It was China, though, that really bolstered GM's sales, as the company's efforts to top last year's record-setting 3.16 million units continued apace. Small SUV sales saw massive growth, with Encore, Chevrolet Trax and Captiva figures jumping 90 percent in Q3. Brand-wise, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick all saw sales gains in the PRC, with each recording double-digit year-over-year jumps. Cadillac sales alone were up 63 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013.
Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
