*********  1967 Cadillac Eldorado ***********

I've got this 1967 Cadillac Eldorado in my driveway and I've decided I don't want it there anymore ..so up for sale she goes !!

This car does run and drive and it even stops, however , the alternator is not charging as it should. I will have this car ready for transport when the time comes. The car is equipped with the 429 engine and I believe it is the only year this body style had that motor. It appears that the last time this car saw the road was back in 2004. This car is solid and came from New Mexico. The vinyl top has been removed and there is some surface rust on the roof , some worse as you get lower. Nothing major . The rest of the car is solid. All the glass looks to be in good shape. Tires are all the same and hold air and have lots of tread but they are old. This car appears to be all original and unmolested.

This car is equipped with the optional disk brake set up for 1967. It has the Am/Fm radio in it also. It turns on and works but will need some TLC...The power windows aren't working at this time. Equipped with tilt steering. The interior is in fair condition but it's all there. I believe the paint is original , at least what's left of it ...Headlights work ... I'm going to put my phone number on here so you can call me about the car ...really pointless to try and say everything here in an ad.  719 - 217 - 8224  .... Please call with any questions .... I have a clean , Colorado title for the car also. .... I bought this car with all intentions of restoring it but somethings come up and it has to go!!

Buyer is responsible for pick up of vehicle ! I will have it ready for transport when the time comes. It will start and drive up onto a trailer with a good battery in it.

Cadillac's new ad campaign to tell you how to get lucky

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

Cadillac is set to launch a new ad campaign this fall, as it attempts to maintain the momentum established by new models like the ATS. The campaign comes from an agency called Rogue, and according to AdAge, will lean on American values. It's called, "Work Hard. Be Lucky."
The campaign is fairly self-explanatory, just from the tagline. It's meant to make a Cadillac seem more attainable to the average, aspirational buyer. It does kind of pander to that American idea that everyone's hard work gets rewarded, but as ad campaigns go, that's not a bad thing.
Somehow, it doesn't roll off the tongue quite like "The Standard of the World." As AdAge points out, Cadillac's advertising over the years has lacked a real coherent theme, although we'll admit to enjoying the most recent campaigns, particularly the around-the-world jaunts with the ATS. It's unclear if the "Work Hard. Be Lucky." theme will evolve into an actual tagline for the brand, with Caddy spokesman Dave Caldwell telling the advertising mag, "It could very easily end up being a line of copy along with other lines; we don't really know yet. It's an open question as to how dramatically it will be featured."

Cadillac LTS flagship to bow at NY Auto Show

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

There is widespread agreement across the industry that Cadillac needs a proper, rear-drive flagship sedan that completes legitimately with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series.
Fortunately, the same view is held within the company, and just such a car - possibly dubbed LTS - is under development. According to a high-level source at Cadillac, the new four-door, which is said to incorporate design cues from the marque's celebrated Elmiraj coupe concept, will debut at the New York Auto Show next April.
If the car needs a cheerleader, surely incoming president Johan de Nysschen is just such a person. De Nysschen doesn't arrive at Cadillac until late in the month, but certainly he will want a proper flagship to do battle with his old foes at Mercedes-Benz and BMW and old friends at Audi and Infiniti.

OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
