BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER on this very RARE TEXAS COWBOY 1978 Cadillac DeVille 4 Door Pickup, it is a West Texas Barn Find that had been stored in a barn near Lubbock Texas since the early 1990's, I don't know the history on it but I could tell you that we did start it up and the car runs and drives good most everything appears to be working. It appears to have been repainted once in it's life back in the 1980's. The original tonneau cover for the pickup bed it there in fair condition. The interior needs some TLC on the drivers side front seat and door panel, it is missing the woodgrain trim around the switches, the headliner is sagging down and needs to be replaced. I just put a new battery, had the tank and line cleaned put new fuel, 2 cans of R12 freon and the car fired right up. The tires are still from the late 1980's so they will need to be replaced before it is a daily driver. This is a very solid car, it is a clear Texas title, the title does say it is a pickup, the remarks state reconstructed because it did not roll off the GM assembly line as a Truck. Cadillac highlights craftsmanship in latest Escalade teaser videos

Cadillac, in case you haven't heard, is unveiling the new Escalade on October 7, completing the redesign of General Motors' large SUV range. The event is proceeding with the regular degree of "teasers" and "leaked images" that is typical of the automotive world, nowadays.
As the new Escalade's reveal date grows closer, Cadillac is trumping up interest for the new SUV, debuting five short teaser videos on its YouTube channel. While not showing much about the Escalade itself, the spots reveal plenty about its materials. Real wood and hand-stitched leather are highlighted, while we get another glimpse of the Escalade's vertically oriented headlights. Take a look below for all five spots.

Cadillac may not build Elmiraj coupe

Despite the fact that most everyone who has laid eyes on the Cadillac Elmiraj concept coupe loves it, General Motors insiders are still trying to prove the business case to build the car. And it's certainly not a guarantee.
"I want to see this car go into production badly. Very badly," Ed Welburn, GM's Global Head of Design, told Autoblog. But the Cadillac design studio is busier than it's ever been before, and the company is working on prioritizing which cars deserve to get the billion-dollar price tag needed to research and develop a new model.

Cadillac Elmiraj has production potential

There are many reasons to love the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept, but not the least of which is how production-ready this big coupe appears to be. Take out the overly fancy interior and a few conceptual elements of the exterior, and this looks like a coupe that could be in dealers now as the successor to the Eldorado.
On top of that, Automotive News is quoting Bob Ferguson, Cadillac senior vice president, as saying that a production version of this car is "very doable." AN adds that if the Monterey showstopper gets the green-light, this car would compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and would based on Cadillac's upcoming rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan due out in 2015. The range-topping coupe would debut sometime after the sedan model. Cross your fingers.
