This Buick is amazing. Purchased a few years ago from the original owner who was over 90 and still driving. The car is an extremely low mileage vehicle whose engine will surely outlive the body. This car was a true "Custom," with two tone paint, wire hubcaps (one side has regular Buick hubcaps) and a padded top that covers part of the rear windows. Inside, it has bucket seats in front, A/C is still blowing cold and an AM/FM stereo (cassette is not working).
The pictures tell the story of a car that has survived life in New England amazingly well. While it was not garaged, it was never driven in inclement weather so the car is solid considering the age of almost 25 years. Most of the rust is surface rust along the fender openings, and some repairs have been made over the years. Most recently, a branch fell on the trunk lid so there is some paint missing and a bit of rust beginning at that place. Do not expect a museum piece, but with some TLC this car can easily run for a few more years.
Serviced and ready to drive anywhere. Changed the oil, rotated the tires and replaced a brake line and rear brakes. Over the years, fuel filler neck and serpentine belt have also been replaced. Starting bid is less than the $625 I spent on the most recent repair. Vehicle also has 4 matching tires that are one year old along with 2 used tires in the trunk.
Delivery help may be possible email for more specifics.
Thanks for looking
Good luck and happy bidding!

GM warning 800,000 owners that their cars may need oil changes more frequently than they say
Fri, 05 Apr 2013The days of changing your engine oil every 3,000 miles are long gone thanks to most cars having automatic oil monitoring systems, but about 800,000 General Motors vehicles apparently have incorrect monitoring software that is leading to premature engine component wear. According to Autoweek, certain 2010-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models equipped with 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines could be going too long in between oil changes resulting in a higher-than-normal number of warranty claims for the engine's balance chain. The balance chain links the balance shaft to the crankshaft, and a worn one can produce higher noise levels.
As a fix, GM dealers will be reprogramming the software for the monitors in an effort to reduce the interval between oil changes, which varies based on driving habits and conditions. Through February 2015, the software update will be done at no cost to vehicle owners, but since this is not a recall, after that point, it will be up to the discretion of dealers as to whether or not they will charge for the service. What isn't immediately clear is whether GM plans on giving assistance to out-of-warranty customers who are experiencing engine issues from the worn chain.
Buick version of Equinox/Terrain CUV spied testing... with autonomous gear?
Wed, 12 Jun 2013Let's get the most pressing bits of this story out of the way right off the bat: What we see here appears to be a new compact crossover from Buick. According to the spy photographer, this machine may be a little bit smaller on the outside than the current Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain 'utes, which makes sense since recent rumors suggest GM's small crossovers will migrate to a new platform that will mark a convergence between the automaker's Delta (Chevy Cruze, Buick Verano) and Theta (Equinox, Terrain) platforms. This Buick would likely use this new D2UX platform.
We've been expecting Buick to unleash a crossover to slot between the very small Encore and the very large Enclave, and various rumors have indicated that the model may be known as either the Anthem or Envision. It's worth mentioning that Buick had planned, back in 2009, to release a vehicle in the compact CUV market, but abandoned those plans after a particularly poor reception.
And now for something completely different... Take another look at the spy shots above, and pay special attention to the cylindrical device mounted to the vehicle's roof. We can't say for sure what it is, but our spy photographer opines that it looks quite a bit like the 360-degree Lidar camera equipment used by Google for its autonomous cars. Is General Motors working with Google on autonomous car technology? We don't know, but you can definitely consider us intrigued.
GM China President says automaker could export vehicles from China to US
Sat, 20 Apr 2013At a press conference on Saturday at the Shanghai Motor Show, General Motors announced plans to further expand its presence in the Chinese market. Among those commitments are plans to build four new plants by the end of 2015, giving the automaker the capacity to produce around five million vehicles a year in the country.
In order to make the most of that expansion, GM is adding 400 dealerships in China this year alone (for a total of 4,200 sales points), and it's eyeing 5,100 dealers by 2015. Yet not all of that production will stay in China - GM is planning to increase exports as well. Officials estimate the company will export somewhere between 100,000 and 130,000 Chinese-built vehicles this year - a record. And it's gunning for more.
Autoblog asked GM China president Bob Socia (above) if that means the company might eventually export new vehicles built in China to the United States, and he responded:
