This is a 1970 Buick Skylark that is a GSX Clone. It has a 350 Buick Engine with a 350 Turbo Transmission. Nice sounding dual exhaust. The car has Power Steering and Power Drum Brakes. This is a Factory AC Car and everything is there. It could use a charge to blow cold. It has a 12 Bolt Rear end with a 3.55 Posi-traction with Strange Bolt in Axles. The car shows 120,000 miles but not sure if that is original mileage. The car has fresh Base Coat Clear Coat paint. The stripes are painted not decals. The fiberglass hood has a working factory tach. It has a Factory Trunk Spoiler. 14" Buick Rally Wheels with new BF Goodrich Radial TA Tires. The interior is fresh with cloth inserts and a fold down armrest. This is a nice Driver and gets tons of attention every where it goes. It has been garage kept. It sits up on the road and drives and rides great. We have owned the car for 14 years and bought it here in TN.

Buick might be getting a logo makeover
Fri, 23 Nov 2012General Motors has finished off an extensive model overhaul for its Buick division, but along with its updated cars, the brand might also be getting a new logo. According to the Detroit Free Press, GM North America President Mark Reuss indicated that the Buick tri-shield logo could be getting a makeover, but offered no further information.
It is unlikely Buick will completely redesign or replace its current logo, but the article seems to indicate that it might return to color; although all chrome now, the logo used to feature red, white and blue shields. Head on over to the Detroit Free Press article to look at some past Buick logos including one from 1904.
What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Buick Regal GS and troupe of basketball dribblers make great beats
Wed, 02 Apr 2014The 166 videos posted by YouTube music video maestro Kurt Hugo Schneider have been watched almost half a billion times. When Coke wanted to do something musically inclined and a little different, it called KHS, and the result was the video Little Talks.
Buick appears to be the next blue chip in line, and KHS' melodic celebration of the 259-horsepower Regal GS is called Epic Basketball + Car Beat. In it, a red Regal sits at center court in Venice Beach, California while a cast of ridiculous dribblers make music with and around the sedan.
We'll let the music speak for itself, which it does quite well in the video below.
