I have a 1985 Buick Regal T - Type Grand National.  I am the 3rd owner . It is driver quality. It has a cheap repaint on it  that was just done about 3 months ago. The interior is in pretty good shape. The pass side door panel cloth is a bit separated but still pretty nice. the rest of the interior is in pretty good shape. I am not sure if the headliner is stock or not.  Not perfect but presentable. The body is in ok shape. The trunk is solid. The floors appear to be solid and they feel solid.  The shifter handle is also nos.  The headlight buckets were bought reconditioned and front turn signals are brand new.

The transmission shifts fine from 1st to 2nd at normal driving conditions. And goes through all of the gears good.  But if you floor it and stay on it then it shifts at high rpm's from 1st to 2nd only, then nicely through the rest of the gears. . I do not know it it needs a rebuild or just an adjustment. Like I said during normal driving you would never know... The motor runs strong. The man I bought the car from said that the motor was original and rebuilt but I have no record of any work done. The tires are good . The exhaust tail pipes are not stock. It has a new altenator  but it needs a new battery because the one in it is no good. I have brand new power window motors that need to be installed because the old ones are slow. What you see is what you get. It is a beautiful driver that always gets looks and challenges at traffic lights... TRUE MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN.. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I can help load the car. Must be removed within one week. I encourage any local people who are interested to come look at the car.. This auction is for the purchase of this car, not for the option of buying  it. If you bid and win then please follow through..

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected

Tue, 20 May 2014

General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years

GM mulling Chevy Cruze hatchback for US, Buick 'Panamera' among other new models

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

We've spoken at length previously about the fallacy of poor hatchback sales in the US, and with the runaway success of its Chevrolet Cruze sedan, it's somewhat unsurprising to hear that General Motors is rethinking its decision not to sell an overseas five-door variant in North America as it looks to plug a number of holes in its lineup. GM North American President Mark Reuss admitted during a media luncheon this week that not offering the model "... was a pre-bankruptcy planning mistake," says Forbes. With the next-generation model already well-along in development, it's likely that the current Cruze hatch (shown above) won't see US dealers.
Reuss admits not offering the model "was a pre-bankruptcy planning mistake"
In what must have been a far-reaching conversation, Reuss hinted at a number of new products for many GM brands, including "a much more beautiful Panamera" range-topper for Buick (which sounds a bit like the line of reasoning the TriShield brand has been pursuing with its Riviera concepts) and a "Ford Transit Connect-fighter" to supplant the recently announced badge-engineered Chevy City Express from Nissan.

GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.
