Beautiful 2012 BMW M3 Convertible. FULLY LOADED! Has very very low miles 5833. Car was used for leisure mostly on the highway. Has been garaged when not being driven. All service records are up to date. Leather is in great condition! Interior looks brand new. Car is at a dealership in Crystal Falls, IL. Would like to use a dealer to facilitate the deal because I am trying to have the tax credit applied to my new vehicle. The car has the remainder of the factory warranty until January 2016. BMW 02 Series mini-documentary makes us fall in love all over again
Sun, 24 Mar 2013BMW's current reputation of building Ultimate Driving Machines can be traced back through history all the way to 1966, when the German automaker introduced the world to its 1600-2 two-door at the Geneva Motor Show. The car's name was simplified in 1971 to BMW 1602, and it went on to spawn the 2002, one of the most famous BMW models of all time.
BMW looks back on its past successes in a video that you can see below. As the automaker itself says in the video description, "This series was extraordinarily successful in reinterpreting the concept of the sports saloon and played a major role in motor sport long after production had come to an end." The 2002 would be replaced in 1975 by another legendary model from BMW: the 3 Series.
We'd be lying if we said we didn't long for something along the lines of the classic 2002 from BMW today. Since that doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon, join us in remembering the cars that helped make BMW a household name by scrolling down below.

BMW working with Dainese to put airbags in motorcycle suits [w/video]
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Addressing the safety concerns of its customers, BMW Motorrad is co-developing a rider suit with Dainese to feature something that's much more common in automobiles: airbags.
Starting with Dainese's D-air Protect System, which is made up of inflatable protectors that deploy in 15 milliseconds, the two companies will integrate the technology into a BMW Motorrad brand, one-piece racing suit, the DoubleR RaceAir. Later a different, street-oriented airbag system that can be retrofitted to bikes will be offered to Beemer riders.
The DoubleR RaceAir is expected to be presented at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan in November, after all required crash testing has been completed.
