Clarksville, Tennessee, United States

For sale is my Daily Driver. 2004 745Li with approximately 102,500 miles. Very Dependable. It is probably going to be the nicest one you're going to find overall. I'm pretty confident in that statement. Southern Car...NO RUST ANYWHERE.

Exterior is really nice for the year. No MAJOR scratches or dings. Very minor wear. Few rock chips up front that you would expect. Absolutely nothing that takes away from over all appearance. I get lots of compliments on this car.

Interior is also Super Nice. No rips, tears or significant wear anywhere. Few minor stains in carpet that can be detailed out.

I've spent about $3500 (that's $3500 that you will probably have to spend if you buy someone else's 745Li!!...(just saying) the last Several Months replacing and servicing.

New Thermostat
New CCV's
New Crankcase Hose
New Spark Plugs
New Ignition Coils
New Battery
New Air and Cabin filters
New Hood Shocks
New Rotors and Pads All the way around
New Driver Window regulator
New Synthetic Oil and Filter change
New wheel bearings All the way around
New Sway Bar Endlinks
New Fuel Filter
NEW TIRES
New Lower Control Arm (Passenger)

EVERYTHING in this car works except: Parking Brake. Navigation CD doesnt read...not sure if laser needs cleaned/replaced? I use Nav on my phone because its better to me so I never worried about it. Small rock chip on driver side part of windshield. Small portion of headliner is starting to sag (see photo).

I'm very picky about my things. Every light bulb and switch works in this car. I've put new courtesy light bulbs in the exterior door handles (Most cars will have several not working), new halo bulbs, new HID bulbs, LED license plate bulbs.

Difference between me and other sellers is that I am upfront with everything! No surprises. I've bought over 10 cars sight unseen and every one of them had hidden issues "conveniently" undisclosed!

Just about every one you are looking at will have common issues (that most likely will not be told to you) that these cars are known for such as Door handle lights not working, Worn Drive shaft guibo, peeling paint on interior panels, thermostat, water pump, power privacy shades not working, door brakes going bad, window regulators, parking brake gears breaking, etc.

Again, I repeat, EVERYTHING works on this car except Parking brake. The Draft Shaft guibo is worn (slight clunk noise) I have the part on hand, just haven't had time to have it replaced -it is included with sale.
Doors work fine but slight "clunk" when opening and closing doors (mid travel). Needs New door brakes..very easy to replace yourself to save on labor cost.

Features:
Parking Sensors,
Heated Front and Rear seats,
Cooled front seats,
Active Front Seats,
Power Privacy Shades on rear doors and rear window,
Tint is pretty Dark (bought it that way),
Power Soft close doors,
Power trunk lid along with all the other bells and whistles that come with these cars.

Clear title in hand.

Why am I selling? I recently started career in Real Estate so not making any money at the moment and this is not an ideal car to have in that situation!
Serious Buyers Only Please...Must Sell.

Please Check my PERFECT feedbacks as I am as honest as they come!! I'm not here to play games or mislead people like SOME ebayers do!
Have Questions? Please feel free to email me and I will Accommodate to the best of my ability.

BMW almost ready to roll out new 2 Series cabriolet

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The 2 Series is a relatively new member of the BMW family, having been spun off of the 1 Series (itself one of the company's youngest lines) just last year. So far the range has been split between the Active Tourer and the 2 Series Coupe, but soon the latter will breed a new compact convertible to take the place of the outgoing 1 Series cabriolet, and here we have our best look at it yet.
Spied with the most minimal camouflage and its top down while undergoing its final rounds of development testing, this pre-production 2 Series cabrio looks about ready for show time. While the Active Tourer is based on a different front-drive platform, this convertible is, as you might have guessed, essentially a 2 Series Coupe with a folding fabric roof. That means rear-wheel drive (or potentially all-wheel drive if BMW extends its availability from the coupe to the convertible) win either 228i or M235i specification - both of them turbocharged, the former with a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four and the latter with the 320-hp, 3.0-liter inline-six.
Considering that BMW got an approximately $8k premium for the 1 Series convertible over the coupe, expect the 2 Series cabrio to start at a little over $40k for the 228i and top out at around $53k for the M235i xDrive convertible. That is, assuming BMW offers it in that top spec, because at that rate we're getting perilously close to the $54,900 base price of the 435i convertible.

Bunny couldn't out hop a BMW M3 on-track

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Driving a car is a dangerous hobby, and not just because of other drivers or poor roads. Sometimes, it seems like even the wildlife is out to get you, as evidenced here, here, here, here and here. Now, we can add one more unfortunate car-versus-animal encounter to the tally.
Perhaps believing that this bright orange BMW M3 GTS was a very fast, very loud carrot, an unfortunate bunny leaped into its windshield in a brutal accident at a Polish racetrack. Considering the M3's speed at the time, 89 miles per hour, the passengers are lucky to be okay. Obviously, Bugs didn't make it.
The BMW isn't in such great shape, though. The windshield is in a bit of a state, with safety glass sprayed all over the passenger side of the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any sheetmetal damage, at least from what we can tell from the video. Although there isn't any blood, the hit is really hard. The initial point of impact is at 0:57. Check out the video below.

Drifting can be dangerous for spectators, too

Fri, 02 May 2014

Okay kids, here's your lesson for the day. When you go to a motorsports event (that isn't a rally), there are these things called walls. They're big and hard. There might be stacks of tires in front of them. There are also these things called barriers, catch fences and run-off areas. They exist to protect you, the spectator, when something inevitably goes wrong on the track.
If you don't have these things, you probably shouldn't be watching whatever four-wheeled mayhem is taking place. This gentleman learned that the hard way, after getting a bit too close while some hoon drifts his BMW 3 Series.
Scroll down for the video, and be warned, while there isn't any blood that we can see, some viewers might find the sight of a human getting punted by a BMW disturbing.
