2007 BMW 335i Coupe in highly sought after Black with Tan leather interior with 69K miles. In almost mint condition!! The car is totally loaded (see picture of original sticker). Has the following options; Sport and Premium Packages, 18" alloys on fairly new Michelin Pilot Sports at 62k. Navigation, Real time Traffic Information, Paddle Shifters, Comfort access, Bluetooth, Power Rear Sunshade, Parking Distance Control, Auto-Dimming Mirrors and collapsable mirrors when parking. It has a clean car fax and I am second owner, no accidents and garaged kept. Car originally came from Florida. This car has a ***Platinum Bumper to Bumper Warranty*** on all major components, including electrical, navigation, etc... Example: Serviced at local BMW dealership (Hendricks BMW) last month. They replaced starter and both power mirrors. My out of pocket was $250 (deductible), total bill was $1700. Also, covers towing to mechanic and pays for loaner up to $35 per day. BMW Dealership though will usual give you a free loaner. The warranty is good to 110K miles or 1/31/2017. Cost was $3000 for this warranty and is transferable for $50 to the new owner. This car has been well taken care of by a true BMW enthusiast. If you know these cars they are fast and a blast to drive, along with a smooth drive for the longer drives. See pics as the car is immaculate, no dings, scratches, leather is perfect, rims are like new with no marks or scuffs. I recently put a new battery and brakes on the car so you do not have any out of pocket expenses until you get to the 100k suggested maintenance. You will not be disappointed!! I have 2 sets of keys, all owners manuals, 2 sets of floor mats and original sticker. Reason I am selling is I have 3 BMW's now and replacing this one with a 5 series.

I am selling the car locally and will end listing early if sold before auction end.

Gus Van Sant casts the BMW i8 in soft light

Sun, 18 May 2014

BMW has spent the better part of a century building its reputation with fossil-burning transportation, but now it's banking heavily on the success of its new i family of electric vehicles. In order to succeed, it will need to sell examples of the i3, but sell the idea with the i8. And in order to do so, it is going to need some out-of-the-box promotional thinking. And that's just what it seems to have done with this latest campaign of television commercials.
The series of three (or at least that's how many have been released thus far) ads wax more poetic than most of the car ads we've seen. But while they might skimp on the technical details, they don't skip over the talent. The videos are the work of Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant, the cinematic artist best known for films like Good Will Hunting, Milk and Finding Forrester.
Van Sant has also solicited the voices of Sam Hazeldine (Caleb from Resurrection), Sting's daughter Mickey Sumner (Sophie from Frances Ha) and Michael Pitt (Jimmy from Boardwalk Empire), but doesn't hide them behind the microphone in the recording studio. Instead they serve as the face of Bavaria's new hybrid sports car, and the results are rather stunning. See for yourself in the trio of videos below.

Mini JCW Paceman vs. BMW M135i in family faceoff

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Over the last year, we've had the chance to drive two of the most exciting hatchbacks in the BMW family - the BMW M135i and the Mini Paceman John Cooper Works - but Autocar has managed to get the two corporate cousins together for a head-to-head comparison. Just like our initial impressions of the Paceman JCW, Autocar has little to complain about this new 215-horsepower hatchback... until it begins to factor in the faster, better-mannered and similarly priced M135i.
Despite laying down an extra 100 hp and delivering a 0-60 time that is almost two seconds quicker, the M135i carries the same price tag of 29,535 pounds in the UK; US pricing for the Paceman starts at $36,200, while it still isn't even clear if the US will be getting the M135i. Even more surprising is the fact that the Paceman falls short of the M135i in regards to rear seat and cargo volume, and just barely squeaks out a win in the fuel economy department. Scroll down to watch the BMW versus Mini hot hatch battle.

BMW unleases new M4 as MotoGP safety car

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

BMW has some considerable racing prowess to crow about, and draws on those credentials to create models like the new M4. But it's not about to rest on the laurels it's won at the end of innumerable races past and present. Mere months after the release of its latest performance coupe, BMW has already revealed a new M4 touring car for the DTM series, and has now unveiled its new M4 safety car for the MotoGP motorcycle championship.
Revealed on the BMW M Facebook page and set to debut at the front of the grid at the season opener in Qatar a couple weeks from now, the new M4 safety car is just the latest in a long string of official vehicles it has provided to the MotoGP series. Previous examples have included everything from the 1M Coupe to the M6 and the X6 M.
Like its predecessors, the M4 safety car features emergency lighting, special equipment and of course BMW's trademark white livery with red, navy and light blue stripes that, in this arrangement, give the new Williams Martini Racing livery a run for its money. Logos promote the BMW M Performance Parts you can buy to bring your own Bimmer up to spec, which on this car isn't likely have changed much from stock.
