2003 BMW 330i E46 post "face-lift" body style. Auto, 96k miles (I drive the car minimally around town, so mileage is subject to change). Car is in beautiful condition. Body is pretty close to perfect (there may be a door ding here or there, but I haven't noticed them yet!) with a few minor scratches that could probably be fixed very easily. One worth noting on trunk lid is fairly long (~12-16") but very light (see photo). Interior is in very good condition with some wear and scratching on the plastic pieces. Sunroof shade is loose as is the plastic wiring harness cover underneath the steering wheel.
Car has had about $2500 of basic wear-and-tear repairs done within the last two months (vacuum hoses, common oil leak on oil filter stand, a couple of tensioners). All repairs done by reputable German-car mechanic. I'd be happy to provide you their contact info to ask questions. Full disclosure, though the Carfax report cover sheet says all "no problems" and "no issues reported," the full report does indicate a minor rear-end collision in 2009. The report indicates you should deduct $470 from retail price to accommodate the issue. Seller is responsible for shipping from Manhattan, KS (our airport has direct flights from Chicago and Dallas). This BMW 2 Series ad has run afoul of Aussie ad watchdogs [w/poll]
Tue, 29 Apr 2014A complaint by an Australian movie-goer has put the brakes on an extended in-theater ad campaign by BMW, and drawn the attention of the country's Advertising Standards Board. According to the anonymous complaint, the ad "portrays an unfavorable message, contrary to safe and sensible driving."
The ASB upheld the complaint, which said the ad for the new M235i showed driving "typical of hoon activity," thanks to the burnouts, dusty drifts and runs up to redline. It's that last one that seems to have gotten the spot in the most trouble, with the ASB acknowledging that even though the car wasn't shown breaking the speed limit, the ad was in violation of a voluntary code of conduct for automotive advertising, according to Australia's Go Auto.
BMW doesn't seem to agree, pointing out that the ad uses creative editing, aggressive camera angles and other filming tricks to "add visual impact."
BMW X1 EV for Zinoro spotted
Tue, 04 Jun 2013BMW has teamed up with Chinese automaker Brilliance Automotive to create a joint venture in China, called Zinoro, and it appears that an all-electric version of the X1 crossover is to be the brand's first model. Spotted testing in Munich, these spy shots show a more camouflaged version of the X1 EV that we saw back in April.
Comparing these latest spy shots, we can see that the Zinoro model will wear a completely unique front fascia that ditches BMW's trademark grille, but few other changes seem to be taking place. Previous reports indicate that this Zinoro EV could go on sale in China early next year.
History of BMW touring cars looks splendid in Adrenalin trailer

When thinking about racing, we generally focus on moving forward to go a little faster or shave a tenth of a second off a lap. There's not much time to look backward. It's too bad, because there are so many fantastic stories from the sport's history. Thankfully, an upcoming doc is taking on the challenge of telling some of these tales, and it looks like a movie not to miss, especially for BMW fans.
Adrenalin - The BMW Touring Car Story mixes high-quality, vintage footage with new interviews from many of the drivers of these machines to craft what looks like a fantastic experience. Covering the period from the '60s to the modern DTM era, just the trailer shows racing from the 2002, 3.0 CSL and of course the E30 chassis M3 of the '80s. You also get to hear from legends behind the wheel like Hans-Joachim Stuck, Johnny Cecotto and Joachim Winkelhock telling their stories.
Adrenalin comes out in November on DVD, Blu-Ray and on-demand. Check out its trailer above for a taste at what it's aiming for. The documentary definitely looks like one to watch.
