'88 Bmw Convertible 325-i 3 Series Two Owners / Mint Condition!!!! on 2040-cars
Miami, Florida, United States
If you have been a member of Ebay for less than a year then please email me before bidding!!!!!
All original everything! Paint shines live new! Absolutely no mechanical issues with this car. This "driving machine" icon of the 1980's can be the car of your dreams! It is very rare to see this car on the street. I have yet to encounter one in the mint condition that my garage kept, single driver beauty exhibits. I purchased her on Ebay about five years ago. I am the second owner. She is as clean as a whistle and has always been the second car in my two car garage. I have NEVER had one mechanical issue with this car, except that I had to change the battery a couple of years ago. I am a single person and have been the only driver and have driven her only occasionally. In five years I have accumulated fewer than 10K miles on this car! She has a soft top cover in black that is in great condition. She gets a lot of attention and loads of compliments on the road. She drives like a dream.....a real driving machine. Alas, I need the space in the garage for a new SUV that I recently purchased on Ebay. I hate to have to part with this jewel, but she will make some lucky owner very happy. NADA Guides value this car between $8K and 10K and the value only increases with age and care. Please let me know if you need additional pictures. THIS VEHICLE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY IF SHE SELLS LOCALLY. On Mar-10-14 at 05:58:42 PDT, seller added the following information:Color is alpine white 2.5 L engine rw drive A/c blows cold Radio and cassette are working Tires still have a long way to go. |

BMW teases 2 Series Coupe ahead of October 25 debut
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Although it was finally just confirmed that the last of the BMW 1 Series coupes and convertibles went out of production months ago, we won't have to wait very long to see this model's replacement, the all-new 2 Series. BMW released a teaser video for its new coupe today and also announced that the 2 Series will officially debut on October 25.
We may still have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see it up close and in person, even though both the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show are nearly upon us. Either way, it's not clear when the 2 Series will roll into dealerships. Considering we've already seen the coupe sitting out mostly undisguised for a photo shoot, there really isn't much to see in terms of styling of the car in this sun-drenched, dirt-slinging teaser. BMW does say that this is the first trailer ahead of the 2 Series' unveiling, so there are likely to be more to follow the video seen below.
BMW 2 Series specs leaked?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Thanks to spy shots from earlier in the year, we already know what the new BMW 2 Series will look like, but now we know a lot more about the coupe courtesy of an apparent BMW South Africa error and some quick-clicking enthusiasts. Though the information no longer appears to be posted on BMW's South African website, 2addicts.com managed to grab most of the details for the new coupe, including the model lineup, specs and most (if not all) of the options list for the upcoming replacement for the 1 Series.
Just like the latest 3 Series, the 2 Series model lineup starts at the 220i powered by a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder, but the more exciting BMW figures to be the M235i with its 320-hp, 3.0-liter straight-six. With the automatic transmission, the info says that the M235i weights 3,240 pounds and will be able to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds - making it both lighter and quicker than the 135is currently offered in the US. The base 220i coupe should also be fun to drive with its 180 horsepower and sub-3,000 pound curb weight.
A quick side-by-side comparison of the dimensions for the base 220i with our current base 128i shows that the new coupe rides on a longer wheelbase (105.9 in. vs. 104.7 in.), is about two inches longer (174.4 in. vs. 172.2 in.) and is an inch wider (69.8 in. vs. 68.8 in.). 2addicts.com even shows available paint colors, interior trim options and lists pricing for South African-spec models. Head on over to the forum to check out all the info they have posted, but we expect the 2 Series to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show early next year.
BMW 1 Series GT spied in 7-seat trim
Mon, 20 May 2013As BMW prepares to introduce its first-ever front-wheel drive car, the upcoming 1 Series GT, it looks like there will be at least two versions of the car. A conventional-looking hatchback was spotted testing late last year, but now we see an extended-length version in order to accommodate a third row of seats.
Judging by these spy shots, this 1 Series GT prototype has received an extended wheelbase, larger rear doors and more upright D-pillars compared to our previous spy shots (show in the gallery below) all with the aim of creating additional passenger and cargo space. Like the smaller 1 Series GT, this longer model would likely carry over the same powertrain options, which are expected to consist of three- and four-cylinder engines, a hybrid system and the choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The 1 Series GT could make its debut this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but we might have to wait until next year to see the people mover.
