Up for Auction BMW 2002 1975. I bought the BMW because is has a clean and sound body. Never touched it. The engine starts and runs and drives. Electrical is in good shape, engine bay is clean. New195 Dunlop Sport Tires, Double weber 40 and manifold (needs tuning). Seats are worn but not ripped, paint is a rough re-spray but could be cleaned up. No history of any accidents. Plate # 713NNL Ca. New Bilstein suspension 1" lowered, New Braided brake lines, This is smog required and I suggest a weber 2bl conversion which is around 200.00. Needs carpet. I have a Black panel set front and rear clean no tears and a very clean dash with one small crack under edge that comes with car. Also some new rear brake shoes, trim chrome set that will replace front door trim, running board trim all also comes with car. This would be a great commuter and little work is needed. This is a clean car for its time!

What we've just tested at an airfield not far from Munich, Germany, is a new 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo inline three-cylinder gas engine that we'll be hearing an awful lot about in the coming few years.
Audi S3 pitted against BMW M135i in track battle
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Audi and BMW have long been enemies on both the road and the track, with their respective M and S/RS lines duking it out to the delight of auto enthusiasts everywhere. In this video from Evo, two of the rivalry's newest combatants take to the track - the Audi S3 and the BMW M135i.
The new Audi S3, which is finally coming to America, throws down with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder. 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque are deployed to a Quattro all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, allowing the five-door Audi to scamper to 60 in under five seconds.
The BMW, which Americans will know as a long-roof version of the new M235i Coupe, comes to the track with 320 ponies and 331 lb-ft of torque. That's a good bit more than the Audi, but the M135i has only two wheels to send its power to, an eight-speed single-clutch automatic (a six-speed manual is available) and a slightly higher curb weight.
BMW 1 Series getting a small nose job
Tue, 06 Aug 2013As BMW prepares to launch its new 2 Series lineup, it appears that the current 1 Series is going to get a little attention for itself. Based on these spy photos, the 1 Series hatchback (F20/F21), which is not offered in the US, will be getting a minor facelift in the near future.
From what we can see in these images, the updated 1 Series will definitely be getting a tweaked front end, with most of the attention focusing on the air intakes and grille. Our shooter tells us that it is possible that the headlights may yet be reworked in some way by the time we see this car in production form. It still isn't clear if we'll ever see this bodystyle or the next-gen 1 Series in the US, but our most recent report seems to indicate that the car's fortunes will depend somewhat on how well the Mercedes CLA-Class and Audi A3 sell.
