1974 Bmw 2002tii Antique Car Runs Great on 2040-cars

I bought this vehicle a couple of years ago during a better financial time. I hate to see it go but its time for it to find a new home. The car was victim to some minor vandalism that was never resolved and I don't have the money to put into it for the repairs. It runs great and spends most of its time sitting in my car port. I've replaced the problem plastic intake tubes that became common problems on this car with custom made stainless steel versions powder coated gloss black and they work and look excelent. This car runs smooth. When I bought the car I drove it from New York to Key West with no problems. I've since taken it from Key West to Maryland, Maryland to Northern Georgia and back to Key West again with no problems. This is a little driving machine. It still has plenty of power and feels like driving a little race car although I've always babied it. The wheels and tires are still in good shape, rims are only a couple years old. Interior is in great shape, driver seat does have small gap in seam, nothing big. Floors and trunk are carpeted with black carpet. Dashboard has a couple small cracks, it's 40 years old, what can you do? I'll put links to videos of me driving the car below. The purchase of the vehicle will be dealt with through my bank so no need for any worry. I will require a deposit of $500 within 24 hours of winning the auction, non-refundable for non-payment. In the event of a non-buyer I will consider re-listing the car. If it should not sell I do intend to have the paint repaired and trying to sell again with a greatly increased price. I am a very busy student and selling this car would make my life much easier right now. It will be my ticket to flight school and I would rather sell it than trouble with repairs and the right buyer. Take advantage of my misfortune and get this car for much less than what it is worth. The right person could make this rare car remarkable. 2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe
Fri, 06 Jun 2014It's hard to say what a coupe is anymore. Is it merely a car with two doors? Does it have to have an arching roofline? Do frameless windows count for anything? Can a five-door hatchback or even an SUV be a coupe? At some point in the last few years, nearly everything we thought made a coupe a coupe has been challenged by something that calls itself a coupe, but to most people isn't. Our friends at BMW have led most of this line of questioning.
The new 2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe is one of the latest Bimmers to challenge the moniker (which also challenges the idea of "Gran," for that matter), and unlike some of its other "coupe" variations - we're looking at you, X6 - this one is a pretty one. The 4 Series Gran Coupe is essentially a four-door version of the 4 Series, which is itself a two-door version of the 3 Series. Huh? Wouldn't that simply make it another 3 Series? Of course, but this one is prettier, as it uses the 4's sexier body styling, with its lower nose, wider-looking stance and edgier lighting graphics. It is also technically a five-door hatchback, not a sedan per se, and it utilizes frameless side door glass, which apparently does count for something in BMW coupe-land. Significantly, the 4 Gran Coupe's wheelbase is identical to the two-door; if it was longer - as is the case with the 3 Series and 5 Series hatchbacks - that might make it a "Gran Turismo." Confused yet?
We recently got our first chance to drive the 4 Series Gran Coupe at a press launch in Spain, and while the only version we were given was a rear-drive 428i Gran Coupe with the M Sport contents, the harrowing roads around Bilbao gave us a good idea of what this car is all about from a driving dynamics standpoint. Here's some of what we found:
X4 launch to spearhead BMW crossover onslaught at NY Auto Show
Mon, 30 Dec 2013It's no secret that crossovers are one of the key vehicle types driving today's auto industry profits, and nowhere is that more true than among the world's luxury brands. BMW became one of the first players in the luxury CUV segment when it launched its original X5 in 1999, and buoyed by that model's runaway success, it followed up with the X3 in 2003, the X6 in 2008 and the X1 in 2009 (though the latter didn't make it to the US until late 2012). It's replaced the X5 twice since then and the X3 once, but the Bavarian automaker isn't about to let matters rest there.
First off, a production version of a new X4 model is expected at the New York Auto Show in April. The model was previously rumored to be earmarked for reveal a month earlier, but a new report from Autocar suggests that the previously mooted reveal date and location were inaccurate. The X4 is expected to apply the same controversial slant-back formula to the X3 that transformed the X5 into the X6, which will in turn lead to an update for the X3 as well.
But that's not all. Autocar also reports that before 2014 is out, BMW will unveil a revised X6 at the Moscow Motor Show in August, which will in turn be followed by upgraded versions of both the X6 M and X5 M. These high-performance crossovers are tipped to pack the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 as the outgoing versions, albeit with higher outputs than the current models' 555 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. All this, and they're still expected to simultaneously improve fuel consumption and emissions figures.
Audi overtakes BMW as adulterers' favorite car brand

For instance, IllicitEncounters.com - a UK dating site for married folks (also known as adultery) - is reporting that a recent poll shows that more people willing to cheat on their spouses drive an Audi. Last year, this same poll showed that BMW was the car-of-choice for adulterers.
With Audi on top (pun intended) and BMW bumped to number two, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Volkswagen round out the top five car brands owned by unfaithful wives and husbands.
