TIMING BELT & WATER PUMP DONE! Don't buy one of these without knowing when it was done, and seeing receipts! I don't drive this car enough to justify keeping it. Title in hand. 123,352 miles Timing belt, water pump, new battery, brake pads, tuneup, both thermostats, all done at 121,000 miles in January 2014, I have receipts in hand. I don't drive the car that much, hence the low miles. New all season tires, likely 85% - 90% tread left, see photo. Quattro AWD system Convertible 225 HP Disk Changer. Therefore special Bose Audio Package - Audio package: Bose premium sound system with four speakers in door, two 2-way rear speakers, center speaker in dashboard, and 4 channel 175 Watt amplifier, 6-disc CD changer Hid headlights. Looks excellent for a 2001, but obviously some paint chips and road rash. NOBODY believes this car is a 2001 when they see it. When you drive it, you also won't believe it is a 2001. Great condition, runs STRONG. Everything works except for power mirrors, the button needs to be replace, it broke off. |

Audi partners with AT&T for 4G LTE, will offer Mobile Share data plan
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Audi has made a big splash at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, joining the Open Automotive Alliance with Google, Honda, Hyundai, General Motors and NVIDIA, debuting a next-generation cockpit that's destined for the third-generation Audi TT and promising to offer laser headlights in a production car. But much like Apple during the Steve Jobs days, it has "just one more thing."
The German luxury brand has announced that it will, like Chevrolet, be teaming with AT&T to offer 4G LTE connectivity in its vehicles. The first model to benefit will be the 2015 Audi A3.
"With the introduction of the new A3 family Audi is putting the most advanced technology into the compact luxury segment," said Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America in a press release. "Offering drivers a 4G LTE connection will provide the fastest in-vehicle connection available and significantly enhance the infotainment experience."
Audi Sport Quattro Concept makes video debut
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Audi has stayed quiet about its Sport Quattro Concept since the 700-horsepower, tangerine rocket debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show - a followup to Quattro Concept shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Now, Audi has broken the plug-in hybrid out to give thanks to its Facebook fans, which now number over 100,000 strong (103,123 as of this writing).
As impressive as that number is, it does seem a bit strange that Audi USA's Facebook page has netted 7.3 million likes, 73 times what Audi's global page has received. Of course, we're not complaining about seeing the Sport Quattro Concept in action, and neither should you. Take a look below for the entire video.
Audi A6 gets styling, powertrain tweaks
Thu, 04 Sep 2014The Audi A6 is already a fairly handsome, German luxury sedan, but the whole range is receiving some styling updates in Europe this fall. Audi's US arm would not directly confirm which of these updates will be coming to America, instead just telling us that an updated A6 will be coming next year.
On the outside, the tweaks are fairly minor. The company's single-frame grille, which shows up throughout the model lineup, gets some very subtle styling changes, and the lower bumper and its air intakes are also reshaped. More obviously, the headlights have a new form with the LED running lights cutting through them in roughly the shape of a T, as opposed to outlining them, as before. A similar shape is also used for the updated taillights, and there are now rectangular exhaust outlets around back, as well. In profile, the side sills also get a harder crease toward the rear of the sedan.
Inside, things are kept generally the same, as well. There's a new Flint Gray interior color for the A6 and Salsa Red for the S6. But the biggest change is a power-retracting eight-inch infotainment system using the Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. The optional night vision assist system is also improved with new functions, according to Audi.
