1994 Acura Legend GS Type-II 6-speed manual transmission.163,xxx mi, Dark green, Tan Leather & Power Seats, Power windows and door locks,power breaks,A/C, sun roof, Factory Bose tape deck with 6 disk changer in trunk, Newer tires. 3.2 Type-II 230 hp motor, K&N Air filter, Oil changed every 3,000 mi. new motor and transmission mounts, new CV Shafts, solid Crank pulley This is a hard to find car. From my research there were only about 400 sold in the U.S. with the 6-Speed manual transmission and the type-II 230hp motor. Try to find this same car for sale... I cant I bought this car in Washington State in 2008 with 120,000 mi. The Bads - Small dent in driver and rear passenger door, small body damage to rear passenger door/ wheel well. This car was never in a wreck all parking lot damage. No clear coat on roof of car, starting to come of on other parts, 20 years old original paint. Small amount of rust behind drivers side rear tire. Driver and passenger seat have tears. I have lots of pics. I will be happy to email any pictures. Just ask. Honda and Acura render their future visions for Shanghai
Mon, 08 Apr 2013With the Shanghai Motor Show coming up later this month, Honda has released a couple of teaser sketches for two concept vehicles that will be making global debuts. Aside from the renderings, there is no information about either the Honda or Acura concept vehicles, but we can tell that both are some sort of utility vehicle, be they of crossover or people-mover variety.
The text for both images indicates that both concepts show future products that will be launched in China, but there is no mention as to what other markets the automaker has planned for these vehicles. In addition to these two concepts, the NSX Concept and 2014 RLX from Acura will make their Chinese debuts, and Honda says it "will display models substantially identical to the mass-production version of the Concept C and Concept S." The Concept C is will be a "middle-class" sedan built for China, and the Concept S, an MPV that will primarily serve China as well.
Honda integrating Siri into select models
Wed, 30 Jan 2013Honda has partnered up with Apple to bring Siri to the Accord, Acura RDX and ILX. Owners who have an iPhone running iOS 6 will be able to ask the software to perform a number of tasks via voice command using the vehicle's on board microphone and speaker systems. What's more, the tech will put the iPhone into an "eyes free" mode, which turns the screen off to help reduce distraction while driving. Honda says it has reworked its Bluetooth and HandsFreeLink systems to accommodate the Siri functionality. While the tech will only be available on three of the company's models right now, we imagine it won't be long before it shows up elsewhere.
As you may recall, Chevrolet integrated Siri into its products with vehicles like the Spark and Sonic, but Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler have also toyed with the tech to varying degrees. The seamless voice command seems to be light years ahead of the tech manufacturers are currently playing with. Check out the full press release from Honda below for more information.
LoveFab headed back to Pikes Peak with NSX-based heathen [w/video]
Tue, 02 Apr 2013LoveFab had a rough run at Pikes Peak 2012. During qualifying on Day Two, owner and professional driver Cody Loveland launched his car off of the course at nearly 60 miles per hour. Never ones to be dismayed by a few bruised ribs and some busted body panels, LoveFab is headed back to the hill climb for 2013, and this year, it's bringing Garrett along as a title sponsor.
Loveland's chariot of choice is officially dubbed "Turbo by Garrett/LoveFab Pikes Peak Enviate" and is loosely based on an Acura NSX. All of the stock Japanese components have been swapped for LoveFab-built pieces with the exception of the subframes and suspension.
With a dry-sump LS1 V8, chromoly-tube chassis and a full carbon fiber body, the car is about as wild as they come. With around 800 pound-feet of torque on hand and a curb weight of under 2,000 pounds, the machine should give the mountain a run for its money.
