2004 Volvo XC90 T6

All Wheel Drive

this SUV Depending on the time of day, the paint changes colors, looks like a smoky silver color most times, then sometimes it has a very light silver minty green color at times, hard to describe the color.

This has 3 rows of seating, Front & Rear Heat and A/C, both work perfectly

Has every option except navigation.

There are no leaks at all.

All four wheels and tires are in good condition, I only took 1 picture of 1 wheel & tire, if you want pictures of all 4 tires and wheels please send me your email, and I will send you all four pictures, thank you.

All the vehicles floor matts are included as pictured.

I have all the books & manuals that came with this truck.

Heated power seats on both sides.

Tires & brakes are in excellent condition.

Vehicle has cosmetic flaws here and there, nothing major at all. Does not need any mechanical work at all !

all flaws are stated and are also pictured here in this ad.

1) the passenger mirror has a crack on the black outer shell, you have to look to see it, both power mirrors work in every possible function, including the collapse position when parking, the mirrors fold in & out with a push of a button.

2) there are a few shopping cart dings here and there, some bigger then others, all are pictured.

3) a few minor scratches, i cant see any after closely examining the vehicle, i'm adding this just in case i've missed something.

4) there is wear and tear in the leather in spots on the small pieces of leather where the wooded steering wheel is, the steering wheel seems to be overhaul in very good shape.

5) there is a seam in the leather seat ( driver side) that has separated in the middle as pictured, there is a wear spot in the back middle part, as well there is wear hear and there throughout the seating, and parts of the interior Over all, this truck is very clean, and runs great, the wear and tear you'll see is normal for a vehicle this age.

6) there is minor curb scratches on the wheels, nothing to bad.

7) the front headlights have age spots from age, they're a little faded.

I've listed everything, most wouldnt even think isnt a big deal condition wise, simply because I have buyers who travel in from other states, and I like to be very specific in my description.
I could have over stated some things with condition, most people would feel, this is a good truck, that runs good, and is fairly clean for it's age.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. thank you

Volvo's electric XC90 SUV to include lidar as standard equipment next year

Thu, Jun 24 2021

DETROIT — Volvo Cars plans to make lidar sensors standard equipment in a new generation of its XC90 SUV next year as part of a strategy to deploy more advanced safety and automated driving technology that relies on precise images of the world around the vehicle. The decision by Volvo Cars to fold lidar sensors into the base price of its vehicle is a bet that customers will pay for the additional capability. It has been called a "watershed moment" by some in the industry. The Swedish brand, owned by China's Geely group, is taking a sharply different road from rival Tesla Inc, which has shunned lidar and radar and is focusing on just cameras and software for its automated driving systems. Self-driving car sensor startup Luminar Technologies Inc will supply Volvo Cars with its Iris lidar and Sentinel software in combination with software from Volvo in the electric XC90 SUV that will be built in South Carolina and go on sale in 2022, the companies said. The new technologies are designed to address traffic situations that often result in severe injuries and fatalities. Over time, the technology will become more capable and will increasingly intervene to prevent collisions, the companies said. "By having this hardware as standard, we can continuously improve safety features over the air and introduce advanced autonomous drive systems," Volvo Cars Chief Executive Hakan Samuelsson said in a statement. Lidar sensors, which use laser light pulses to render precise images of the environment around the car, are seen as essential by many automakers to enable obstacle detection and avoidance in advanced driving assistance systems and eventually in fully automated vehicles. Complete sensor set on on electric successor to XC90 Until now, lidar has been too costly for automakers to implement as anything other than an option that costs extra. Luminar CEO Austin Russell said the pricing for its lidar is on the order of $1,000 per unit. Volvo Cars' chief technology officer, Henrik Green, said cost is not the focus for the Swedish auto brand. While the price of the technology will come down over time as volumes grow, the rollout will accelerate use of automated services that the company can charge for. Green said subsequent vehicles will add the lidar package as standard, and that this continues Volvo Cars' history of being first to standardize many safety features, including three-point seat belts and side-impact airbags.

Volvo Cars hopes to raise $2.9 billion in its stock IPO

Mon, Oct 4 2021

STOCKHOLM/LONDON — Geely-owned Volvo Cars plans to raise 25 billion Swedish crowns ($2.9 billion) through an initial public offering (IPO), the Swedish carmaker said on Monday of what would be one of Europe's biggest listings this year. Volvo said it will list on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange this year and that Chinese owner Geely Holding would remain its biggest shareholder. In 2018, Volvo Cars and Geely, which also owns an 8.2% stake in Sweden's Volvo Trucks, postponed plans to float shares in the Swedish carmaker, citing trade tensions and a downturn in automotive stocks. "Volvo Cars believes that its unique structure and focused strategy makes it one of the fastest transformers in the global automotive industry, with mid-decade ambitions dedicated to electrification, sustainability and digitization," the Swedish company said in a statement. Like a number of other carmakers, Volvo has committed to shifting its entire car range to fully-electric models by 2030. Volvo said is targeting an operating margin of between 8% and 10% by 2025. It is also aiming for annual sales of 1.2 million cars, up 56% from the 770,000 it sold in the 12 months to June 20 this year. Electric push The carmaker said it expects 50% of sales to be fully electric cars by the middle of the decade and that 50% of sales will be made online rather than in dealerships. Volvo Cars said earlier on Monday that its sales in September fell 30% from a year earlier, dented by the global components shortage. Sources told Reuters last month that Geely was in advanced discussions with banks to list the Swedish company in the coming weeks, aiming for a valuation of about $20 billion. Volvo Cars had previously said it was considering a Stockholm listing in the second half of 2021. A Volvo spokesperson on Monday said that the company had no comment on valuation or on how much of the business would be sold in the IPO. "There will be further information published in connection with the prospectus," she said. Electric-car maker Polestar, which is owned by Geely and Volvo, last week said it will go public by merging with a U.S.-listed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) backed by billionaire Alec Gores and investment bank Guggenheim Partners at an enterprise value of $20 billion. Volvo Cars reports theft of R&D data by hackers

Fri, Dec 10 2021

STOCKHOLM — Volvo Cars said on Friday it had launched an investigation into a cyber security breach and the theft of some research and development data that could impact the company's operation. A spokesperson for the firm, majority owned by China's Geely Holding, said it had been approached by a third party, but declined to give any further details. "Investigations so far confirm that a limited amount of the company's R&D property has been stolen during the intrusion," the Swedish carmaker said in a statement. It added that "there may be an impact on the company's operation," without specifying what that might be. It said it did not see an impact on the security of its customers' cars or their personal data. The Gothenburg-based company said it had implemented security countermeasures to prevent further access to its property, while notifying relevant authorities. "Volvo Cars is conducting its own investigation and working with a third-party specialist to investigate the property theft," it said. Shares in Volvo Cars, whose IPO on Oct. 29 was the biggest in Europe this year, were down 3.2% at 1555 GMT. Â
