For sale is this 2002 Volvo S60 fully loaded with low km. Just o be clear the car has 186,500KMS not miles. Runs good and is very very solid car. Is fully loaded, Full power adjustable seats up down forward back tilt backrest and heat passenger and driver. Power mirrors power door locks and windows. rear seats do fold down to provide extra trunk space and also rear center console folds down and provides access to trunk or for longer items. ie skies.  car is very comfortable and extremely quiet. really is a luxury automobile.

Engine is a 4 cylinder turbo charged 2.4l so is good on fuel and still has plenty of smooth power for getting on the highway etc. is a real treat to drive.tires are all matching good years, with approx half tread remaining.

The exterior of the car does have some minor issues, no rust the car is very solid. but the left side has minor scratches as well as the hood. drivers door is the worse, please see pictures. drivers seat stitching has about 2 inches coming loose and the key-less entry remote doesn't work. every mirror every window everything else works on this car. even the rear electric folding head rests. there are no warining lights on, abs check engine lights etc. all systems are good.

Recently the car has had the instrument cluster repaired. and has just had a new battery and timing belt installed as well as a front lower ball joint passenger side. so no major maintenance required for a long time! I have also had the car checked over for a safety (thus some of the recent work) and can provide Ontario safety certificate to the buyer. I also have a valid e-test certificate for the vehicle.  I also have a copy of the used vehicle package, showing no liens/ accidents on the car (required to register vehicle in Ontario)

I have done my best to get the car ready for sale thus the safety e-test etc. Ontario buyers will simply have to register car in there name etc to get plates and put on the road.

Please feel free to ask any questions. i think i covered all of it.

Tina Fey sits down with Seinfeld for new CiCGC

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

Recently Jerry Seinfeld went out for a videotaped cup of coffee with Jay Leno in a vintage Gmund Porsche. Switching coasts and cars, this time New York's own son returns to his city for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey for the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem, then back downtown to a pastry shop. On the way, Jerry calls out a photo shoot for using a fake Porsche, and Fey admits she doesn't have a driver's license. Driving cars, she says, "is like Twitter to me." Which she also doesn't do - she lasted seven tweets in 2009.
You can check out the episode below as they go in search of coffee, the rare guanabana/soursop juice, Jerry's even more elusive product placement and the last Cronut in NYC.

2023 Volvo S60 and V60 get small updates

Mon, Mar 14 2022

The Volvo S60 sedan and V60 wagon have been updated for the 2023 model year, their mid-life refresh. We don't know the specifics of how our U.S.-market models will be updated, a Volvo spokesperson telling Car and Driver that information comes this spring. We can look to Europe for the broad strokes, however, and it appears we won't have to look too long nor too hard. The S60 sedan hasn't changed in front, whereas the V60 gets a revised lower front fascia with slightly wider intakes accented by blades of chrome garnish, and a center intake that's a wee bit taller than on the current model. In back, both cars hide their tailpipes. There will be at least one new wheel option as well, six-spoke jobs cribbing from the aero rims designed for the XC40 Recharge. And that's all we have to say about that.  Inside, Google's Android Automotive infotainment software continues its propagation throughout the Volvo lineup, bringing the same functionality to the 9-inch display that we've sampled in a few other Swedish offerings so far.   We only get the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the United States, aided by 48-volt mild-hybrid (an update for 2022) or plug-in-hybrid electrical assistance depending on trim for the S60, while the V60 wagon — not the lifted V60 Cross Country — is only sold as the Recharge Polestar Engineered in the United States. Don't expect any deviations on the ICE side, but the PHEV trims benefit from a larger battery and more powerful motor.  In Europe, the B3 and B4 trims will enjoy a new seven-speed dual-clutch. We don't expect that gearbox to be headed our way. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Geely wants to be a tech-sharing 'friend' of Daimler in $9B bet

Sat, Feb 24 2018

Chinese carmaker Geely has built up an almost 10-percent stake in Daimler in a $9 billion bet by its chairman that he can access the Mercedes-Benz owner's technology in the growing battle for the future of automotives. The purchase by Li Shufu, Geely's founder and main owner, means China's largest privately-owned automaker is now the biggest shareholder in Germany's Daimler. Geely said on Saturday there were no plans "for the time being" to raise the stake further. Instead, it will seek to forge an alliance with Daimler, which is developing electric and self-driving vehicles, to respond to the challenge from new competitors such as Tesla, Google and Uber. "No current car industry player is likely to win this battle against the invaders from outside without friends. To achieve and assert technological leadership, one has to adapt a new way of thinking in terms of sharing and combining strength. My investment in Daimler reflects this vision," Li said. "Daimler is pleased to announce that with Li Shufu it could win another long-term orientated shareholder, which is convinced by Daimler's innovation strength, strategy and future potential," the German company said in a statement. Geely officials plan to travel to Stuttgart to meet Daimler executives early next week and also hope to meet top German government officials in Berlin, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. The Chinese firm plans to use the meetings to underline that it intends to be a supportive long-term investor, they said. Daimler had no immediate comment on any meetings. Geely and the German economy ministry declined to comment. Chinese investors in German technology companies have tended to take a consensual approach, buying incremental stakes in companies such as robotics firms Kuka and Kion, typically after long consultation with management and other stakeholders. In November, Geely asked Daimler to issue new shares so it could buy a stake, as a way to access Mercedes-Benz technology for electric cars and trucks, including battery technology, to help Geely comply with a Chinese crackdown on pollution. But the German company turned down the offer saying it did not want to dilute existing shareholders, sources at the time told Reuters. Li changed tactics, and quietly amassed a stake of 9.69 percent worth $9 billion at Daimler's current share price.
