This is a great SUV that has been well taken care of. It was a Florida car it's whole life until we bought it. There is no rust on the vehicle and all the services are up to date. One reason I bought this model was to avoid the high costs of Volvo turbos and timing belts. Being a V8, it has a timing chain and doesn't break like the T6 or other models. It also has great acceleration and handing. it has 3 rows of seats and the two seats in the rear fold down and out of site. Comes with all the floor mats and a 2 piece plastic carpet cover for the back. The only interior issue is that the headliner sags a little, it's never bothered me and I'm pretty picky, I usually have to point it out to people. The middle back seat moves forward and back independently so you can take care of the baby without turning all the way around. It has rear audio controls for the stereo and rear controls for the third row A/C. It has heated seats and a sunroof, navigation, and rear back up sensors (which is probably why the bumpers are perfect). The MPGs aren't bad for this SUV because the AWD kicks in only when needed. It comes with the factory tow hitch and the attachment with tow ball mounted.
Tires are good, all the glass is good. Paint is nice and glossy. It does have a few little knicks and scapes but nothing that take away from it's overall appearance. All the leather is good and not cracked or stained like most I've seen. The headlights are clear and not all fogged up like they usually are. It has The built in GPS and everything works. I have all of the manuals and booklets to the car. This is one of the safest SUVs on the market and you can't tell a 2005 from a 2013! Just let me know if you have any questions and I will answer them promptly. fly in and drive it home or ship it, whatever you need to do, I will assist you. We would like to see this vehicle go to someone who could use it. As of now, it sits in our garage most of the time. I date stamped the photos so that you know I'm not selling something that looked nice a year ago. We aren't looking to make a lot of money off of this (which is why it's hundreds below the KBB value) and realize the state of the economy. Than being said, please keep in mind that we want to sell it but we don't need to sell it. So please, no low ball offers. This is listed locally and I have the right to end the auction at anytime. Thanks for looking and good luck!

When Android Automotive goes in the dash, Google wins — and automakers lose data
Tue, May 22 2018You've gotta hand it to Google for the way the Silicon Valley tech giant has made indelible inroads into the car on multiple fronts. The most obvious is with its pioneering self-driving car technology that's caused car companies to get their act together on autonomous vehicles — and also collaborate with Google. Google has more directly extended its influence and data-mining capabilities into the car with its Android Auto smartphone-projection platform that most major automakers have adopted along with Apple's CarPlay. And now it's preparing to dig even deeper into dashboards by deploying its open-source operating system, Android Automotive, beginning with Audi and Volvo. Volvo recently announced that its next-generation Sensus infotainment system will run Android Automotive as an OS and include Google's Play Store for cloud-based content, Maps for navigation and Google Assistant for voice recognition, which can even command a car's climate control. By embedding Google in the dash, Volvo says owners will get an improved connected experience. "Bringing Google services into Volvo cars will accelerate innovation in connectivity and boost our development in applications and connected services," Volvo senior vice president of R&D Henrik Green said in a statement. "Soon, Volvo drivers will have direct access to thousands of in-car apps that make daily life easier and the connected in-car experience more enjoyable." Having Android Automotive onboard could benefit drivers — and provide a big win for Google, since it opens a deep and lucrative new data-mining vein for the company. But it's a wave of a white flag for car companies when it comes to delivering their own cloud-based content and services. It also represents a massive data giveaway and, for Audi, a reversal of earlier reservations about letting Google get too much access to car data. Not long after Android Auto and Apple CarPlay were introduced in 2014 and most automakers eagerly embraced the technologies, several German automakers second-guessed their decision when they realized what was at stake: data. At a conference in Berlin in 2015, Audi CEO Rupert Stadler said car owners "want to be in control of their data, and not subject to monitoring." A few months earlier, Stadler stated that "the data that we collect is our data and not Google's.

Lexus LC 500 dominates 2016 EyesOn Design Awards
Wed, Jan 13 2016The Lexus LC 500 captured top honors for the best-designed production car and the best interior at the 10th annual EyesOn Design awards at the Detroit Auto Show. The awards are handed out by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. The Buick Avista won the concept car category, just as its four-door predecessor, the Avenir, did last year. Other winners this year included the Chrysler Pacifica, which won for the best-designed production "truck" (as crossovers and minivans are sometimes categorized), and the Audi H-Tron Quattro, which won for the best concept truck. The Acura Precision concept was also recognized for its "innovative use of color, graphics, and materials." And the new Volvo S90 was singled out for its human-machine interface. The panel of jurists this year included designers from an array of automakers and art schools. Several past honorees for the organization's LifeTime Design Achievement Award participated in the voting, including GM's Wayne Cherry, BMW DesignworksUSA founder Chuck Pelly, Hyundai's Peter Schreyer, and Jack Telnack (formerly of Ford).
