2007 Volvo XC70 2.5t AWD

We are pleased to present this incredibly nice Volvo XC70 2.5t AWD which is fitted with some fairly desirable options. First of all, 2007 is the final year for this body style of XC70, and is, in our opinion the best year for these cars. Not only is this XC70 made after the facelift of these cars which gives them new more modern front and rear bumpers with larger skid plates, different tail lights, headlights, and a completely redesigned center console and center stack, but 2007 also gives the XC70 larger door mirrors with integrated turn signals which give the car a much more rugged and finished look at the same time. They are painted body color but are big and chunky. The're just great. Since 2007 was the last year for this body style of XC70, by this point, Volvo really had this model perfected. Mechanically, these cars are awesome, and their 5 Cylinder engine is one of the greatest engines ever made by any company. They run FOREVER! This XC70 also has the Premium Package.

The interior of this XC70 is in very, very good condition. It has oak (beige) leather XC heated seats with beautiful walnut accents on the dash and door panels (and that matching steering wheel). The car has the "high performance sound" Alpine audio system upgrade which sounds excellent. It also has a power moonroof. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. These cars don't even come with cigarette lighters, just power outlets. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages which is illuminated with a really cool light ring. The center console also features much more wood than the previous models, and it gives the car a much more upscale feel. This Volvo has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags, and curtain airbags for the front and rear seats. It's got the WHIPS whiplash protection system as well which prevents whiplash in the event of a rear-end collission. It also features rain sensitive windshield wipers, along with heated mirrors and high-pressure headlight washer jets, which are part of the climate package.

The exterior of this XC70 is in remarkably good condition, and Metallic Silver in color. Metallic Silver is a medium to medium-dark silver color which Volvo has been making for several years. The color looks very bright in direct sunlight, but almost becomes gray in darker conditions. This XC70 also has "slate" colored unpainted bumpers. Slate is a gray color with a hint of blue. It looks great with the silver metallic paint. The exterior of the car is actually in very nice condition, and there aren't any major flaws to note. The 16 inch "Xenia" alloy wheels are in great condition. The body is very free of dings and scratches. Overall, this is a great looking XC70.

The tires are all matching Continental tires that are in good shape. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. Pros: Classy, clean, minimalist design; powerful PHEV powertrain available; robust standard safety and driver assistance suite Cons: While we like the design, it’s due for an update; upgrading to PHEV is costly The 2023 Volvo XC90 is a three-row, full-size SUV that we like for its tasteful design, comfortable interior space and excellent safety. For 2023, the standard powertrains become mild-hybrid designs based on a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The plug-in-hybrid XC90 Recharge version raises the price considerably, but provides a generous amount of all-electric range while being the most powerful and fun XC90 by far. It wonÂ’t provide the sporty driving dynamics like some of the performance models from BMW and Mercedes, but thereÂ’s plenty to like about VolvoÂ’s flagship crossover. What Volvo does offer is oodles of safety, with excellent crash test results year after year, and a robust suite of safety and driver assistance technology that doesnÂ’t feel like itÂ’s working against you while youÂ’re driving. The XC90 is also comfortable and roomy, seating six to seven passengers in an interior thatÂ’s comfortable and interesting to look at without feeling overwrought or ostentatious. The XC90 is getting a little long in the tooth as itÂ’s now in its eighth year since a complete redesign, but its unique, crisp design and modern technology hide its age well. If you want something all-electric, though, youÂ’ll have to wait just a little longer. Volvo EX30 Deep Dive: Designing a budget SUV

We just spent a couple days with, in and around Volvo’s latest all-new electric vehicle, the EX30, at the companyÂ’s headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, and we came away impressed. We went in with questions, and came out with answers, or so we think, though some of them will remain until we drive it in November. A number of automakers are promising truly affordable EVs, ones that not only undercut the current, $4,600 price differential between new battery-powered cars and their internal combustion powered siblings, but ones that are significantly lower than the general average new car transaction price, which is currently nearly $50,000. Mass market EVs like this are important, if we are to make a real environmental impact with our switch to battery power, as there is little that is green about the resource-hoarding production and utilization of niche, six-figure, five-ton electric pickups and SUVs. Volvo aims to be first to market with such a car, with the compact EX30, which it plans to sell starting at $35,000. This is a new category offering for the brand, one that slots in well below the current XC40 Recharge EV in terms of price and size. For contrast, that car starts at around $50,000, and is 8 inches longer, 4 inches higher and nearly 3 inches wider. Volvo EX30 View 22 Photos This seems like a strange move for a company whose mission, since being purchased by the Chinese manufacturing company Geely, has been to move upscale into the same consideration set as the luxury German brands. But, as is often the case, Volvo is taking its own path. Â“This is indeed a lower segment for us,Â” says Joakim Hermansson, the vehicle product lead for EX30, as he walks us around the car, inside and out, and allows us to sample the sharp accelerative abilities of the range-topping, 442 hp, dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model (0-60 in 3.4 seconds.) Â“But itÂ’s still premium for Volvo, providing hallmark features of safety, sustainability and personalization, as well as performance.Â” He's not wrong about any of these. This EX30 comes standard with VolvoÂ’s extra-strength safety cage as well as lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. Perhaps most notably, it has an all-new interior design that capitalizes on the efforts the brand has been making toward its internal goal of being fully circular in its sustainability efforts by 2040.
