Up for sale is a 2002 Volvo S60, AWD. This car was totalled out by the insuraunce company. My Dad hit a deer and they totalled the car out. It is a salvage title. The car runs and the frame is straight. 350 miles before the wreck, there were new tires, struts and front axle installed on the car. The car has 125k miles on it. The top end of the engine was rebuilt at 90k miles. Recently the car had a new transmission put in it. I have all the paperwork for the mechanical work completed. I am willing to part the car out, or let the whole thing go for 3000.

The car currently runs fine, but it needs a radiator and intercooler installed before it can be driven. We have the old intercooler, but it may be damaged from the wreck.

The car will have to be picked up locally.

Transmission was replaced by Volvo 47,000 miles ago, and the engine was rebuilt just about 20,000 miles ago. Also only 350 miles on the new struts, four tires and new front axle. I have all of the paperwork for the mechanical work completed on the vehicle.

The car does not come with a hood, only included is what is shown in the photos.

Volvo calls in S60 T5 over oil pressure indicator

As anyone with a driver's license should be able to tell you, the oil pressure indicator on a car is a vital feature. If you don't have enough oil pressure, your engine could seize up, leaving you stranded and causing catastrophic damage for both your automobile and your wallet. Worryingly, then, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that the oil pressure indicator lamp on certain Volvo S60 models is prone to failure, prompting the manufacturer to issue a recall.
The issue pertains to MY2011-2012 Volvo S60s with turbocharged five-cylinder engines manufactured between June 22, 2010 and May 14, 2012. All told, precisely 30,929 units are affected by the recall campaign. The owners of affected models will be notified by Volvo to bring in their cars to their local dealer for a software update. Volvo: Tesla's Autopilot is just a 'wannabe'

Using the words "unsupervised wannabe" in an interview with The Verge, Volvo's Trent Victor says the Tesla Autopilot is "giving the impression it's doing more than it is." According to Victor, Tesla's self-driving tech is merely appearing to be autonomous because, with the Tesla system, the driver has to be fully alert all the time, ready to regain control. Tesla says its system is Level 2 autonomous, although some experts regard it as Level 3, which means it takes over safety-critical functions from the driver. Volvo says it pays more attention to actual crash avoidance, and that its Drive Me system is Level 4 autonomous, meaning that in the event of a hazardous situation the vehicle will handle the appropriate procedures and bring itself to a halt in a safe fashion. There will be no need for the driver to take action, which is important in case the driver has been incapacitated while the Drive Me autopilot has been controlling the car. Another thing with the Volvo setup is that it monitors the road in case of a conflict situation, or someone suddenly appearing in front of the car, be it a pedestrian or a runaway child. Tesla has never said that its Autopilot is anything other than a beta version under trial usage. It costs $2,500 when you purchase your Model 2 or X, or $3,000 as a add-on once you've taken delivery. The company also just announced that it would offer Autopilot for free as part of a one-month trial. Tesla declined to comment on Volvo's comment.
