I have owned this truck for about 2 years. The previous owner passed away and all the paper work disappeared, therefore this truck is being sold without the title.
The pickup is original paint and it appears that it was a daily driver. It starts, runs and drives great. It comes with the topper and the tires have about 80% tread left. The windshield is cracked and the headliner drops. The front seats are excellent. The truck has been parked since 2003, according to the plates.

Winterkorn not under official investigation in Germany
Thu, Oct 1 2015Prosecutors for the state of Lower Saxony in Braunschweig, Germany, are now saying that former Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn is no longer specifically under investigation for his role in alleged fraud related to the automaker's diesel emissions scandal. The lawyers are clarifying that there's no formal inquiry into the exec because there's not yet enough evidence to establish a suspicion of wrongdoing, Bloomberg reports. However, they are still looking into VW's actions. Earlier this week, the prosecutors announced they had begun an initial investigation into Winterkorn for alleged fraud in the emissions regulation evasion. At that time, there were reportedly 12 complaints asking the lawyers to look into the case, including one from VW. Under German law, only a person could be charged for the potential crimes, rather than a whole company. "An initial suspicion must be based on facts, and you must begin an investigation before you can establish the facts," Christoph Schalast, a professor at the Frankfurt School of Finance, said to Bloomberg. Meanwhile in the US, the investigation continues into VW. The Department of Justice has the support from at least two senators to pursue criminal and civil charges against the company. The attorneys general in at least 29 states are also looking into things. Meanwhile, lawyers are building a class-action lawsuit, as well. To help in its defense, the automaker is employing the help of the same firm that defended BP during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Related Video:
VW will delay projects to cope with diesel scandal
Tue, Oct 6 2015Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal will require the sacrifice of far more than just executives and money. It's also going to result in the cancellation of various projects, a process that new CEO Matthias Mueller said "won't be painless." "We will review all planned investments, and what isn't absolutely vital will be canceled or delayed," Mueller said while addressing the embattled company's employees. The former Porsche boss also said the money set aside by the German giant – about $7.29 billion – won't be enough to cover recall expenses, fines from governments in affected countries, and the expected deluge of lawsuits from disgruntled TDI owners. According to Bloomberg, that figure probably won't even be enough to match the fines Uncle Sam is likely charge, pegged to be around $7.4 billion, according to one analyst. It's expected that VW could delay a further push for share in the North American market, which would include a $1-billion investment in its Puebla, Mexico, factory. But it will take more than cancellations and delays, analysts claim. "It's going to be tough to find projects they could chop that will actually move the needle," JPMorgan Chase's Jose Asumendi told Bloomberg. "What they really need to do is get costs under control." That, according to Bloomberg, is already setting up a showdown between management and labor. The latter wants a reduction in VW's $17.4-billion research-and-development budget – the world's largest and more than what Ford and General Motors spend combined – while the former wants to slash personnel costs. Bloomberg also spoke to analysts who claimed the company should look into reductions in purchasing costs as well as trimming sponsorships. It's impossible to know just how extreme Volkswagen will need to get with cancellations, delays, and cost-cutting, but it's becoming increasingly clear that the effects of this scandal will likely be felt far longer than the controversies that surrounded other automakers like General Motors and Toyota. Dyno run hints VW GTI power might be significantly underrated
Wed, Feb 4 2015Are you one of the lucky owners of the 2015 Volkswagen GTI? If yes, you should be happy, because your 210- or 220-horsepower hot hatchback might actually have more like 260 ponies under its hood. That's according to a dyno test from a vendor on, of all places, a Ford Focus ST enthusiast forum. The company is estimating a 15-percent drivetrain loss with the GTI's best result a whopping 263 horsepower and 314 pound-feet of torque at the crank. That's a tremendous difference from the 210 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque that Volkswagen claims. Of course, this is merely one dyno session on one car. We'll have to wait until more 2015 GTI owners get on the rolling road to see if Volkswagen really was as conservative about its hot hatch's output as FocusST.org claims.
