2008 Volkswagen Passat Lux Sedan 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars

This smoke-free 2008 Volkswagen Passat Luxury Edition (with Navigation) is in excellent condition with a beautiful color combination. The latte color seats with the black carpet make it easy to keep clean and yet no where near as hot as the triple black. I put all new Michelin Pilot AS3's on less than 7k miles ago with the intention of keeping the car for a long time. However, my wife's SUV died and since I have a boat, I had to replace the SUV and can't afford to keep both. I recently updated the Navigation system with the 2014 maps. I also recently purchased VW all-weather mats (original mats are still in near perfect condition). This car does have a Aux input under the armrest as well as a factory installed iPod dock in the glove compartment. There are a couple of very minor door dings and one that is a little more noticeable as it is on the contour line (see picture). This car has never been in any type of accident or had any body work done whatsoever. I purchased the car as a certified pre-owned VW back in 2012. I have had all maintenance / service work done by the local VW dealer. This car needs nothing. Over the years I have sold several cars on ebay so I encourage you to look at my feedback and bid with confidence. FYI, NADA Retail Value is $12,900.

Touring the Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Forgive the ribbon up top - this isn't so much of a Read This as a Look At This. Ran When Parked took a tour of the sprawling Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg, and while there's a spot of text about the different and unique vehicles on display in the rotating exhibits, it's largely the collection of pictures of odd, one-off VW-badged cars and vans that excites. If you're a fan of the weird and wild, this is a post you'll want to look at.
As RWP points out, this is the larger, but less busy, museum targeted purely at Volkswagen products. The smaller AutoStadt museum, meanwhile, covers a much broader swath, with products from other Volkswagen Group members. UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Dec 2012There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
Scroll down to watch Auto Express' top five commercial in order and to check out a press release, then let us know some of your favorite car commercials in Comments.
