Below I have listed every issue that I am aware of.Exterior Defects:-The front passenger-side parking lamp cover is cracked (picture included)-There is a scratch across the back right corner of car (picture included)-There is a slight shift in the front left bumper (picture included)-There are other minor scratches.Interior Defects:-The hinge to the compartment inside of the front armrest is broken, but it can remain on without notice-The cable to the inside driver's door handle is broken, so only the outside handle can be used currently-The interior molding on the driver's door is looseMechanical Defects:-The only mechanical defect that I have noticed is there is a creaking noise every time the wheels are straightened out from a tight turn."

THE BASICS: I am selling a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS 1.8T. I have a clean Connecticut title in hand. I am the second owner. I bought it about three years ago from my step mom with about 110k on it. I put an additional 30k on it. The car runs great, no leaks or burning oil or anything like that. I am selling this car because I am moving to NYC and will have no need for a car.

Work Done Recently: About two years ago it had two new rotors put on and the other two were resurfaced.  The work was done at Kost Auto in Lewisburg, PA. I have receipts for this work. My step mom took very good care of it as she always had it maintained and serviced as recommended.

The Bad: The body has some light scratches and defects. The driver side front fender and door were replaced. There is a creaking noise whenever the wheels are straightened after a tight turn. The inside driver-side door handle does not currently work, so the outside handle must be used until fixed. The interior molding on the driver side door is loose.

Overall:  The car is in good shape and has been very dependable. It always starts right up for me, even on the coldest New England mornings. All the options work great (sunroof, heated seats, sound system etc). The fuel mileage is great; it gets around 30 MPG. There are no huge dents or rust throughs or anything like that. It is nice as you can see from the pictures. The interior is nice as well. There are no cracks or rips or stains.

Features: This car has AVID H4S high performance all season tires, and a great additional set of Blizzak snow tires. It has lots of options like the power sunroof, heated seats, power windows and locks, CD and cassette player, monsoon sound system, AC, alloy wheels, and ABS. All the options work perfect still.

Roundup: Hoping to find a new owner at a very reasonable price. I am going to work in NYC and no longer need a car.

CALL or TEXT me at 203-640-0062 with any questions, to see it or for pics etc. Make me an offer.

Thank you,
Scott

Audi will submit emissions fix for 3.0 TDI V6 to EPA and CARB

Tue, Nov 24 2015

Audi will develop a software update for the emissions control system on Volkswagen Group's 3.0 TDI V6 and will submit the changes to the Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board for approval. If the government regulators accept it, the tweaks could end the emissions problems for an estimated 85,000 of these engines in the US in Audi, Porsche, and VW models. However, the stop-sale still covers these vehicles until further notice. Audi admits in its statement to failing to disclose three "auxiliary emission control devices" on the V6 to regulators, and US law considers one of these systems a defeat device. VW Group offered the engine in the US on the Audi A6, A7, A8, Q5, and Q7 since the 2009 model year. The mill was also available on the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne. The EPA filed a violation against the 3.0 TDI on November 2 because the agency reported that the engine's software contained a defeat device to circumvent emissions tests. The regulator recently extended that notice to cover these powerplants in the US from the 2009 to 2016 model years. Audi's statement vaguely estimates the price of this problem to be in the "mid-double-digit millions of euros," and the automaker could face financial punishment by regulators. "Determinations regarding potential penalties and other remedies will be assessed as part of the investigation EPA has opened in conjunction with the US Department of Justice," an EPA spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video: Statement on Audi's discussions with the US environmental authorities EPA and CARB Auxiliary emission control devices (AECD) for US version of V6 TDI 3 liter engine to be revised, documented and submitted for approval Technical solution for North America versions from 2009 model year onwards to be worked out in conjunction with the authorities Audi will revise, document in detail, and resubmit for US approval certain parameters of the engine-management software used in the V6 TDI 3 liter diesel engine. That is the result of the discussions held between a delegation from AUDI AG and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The updated software will be installed as soon as it is approved by the authorities. The three brands Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen are affected. Audi estimates that the related expense will be in the mid-double-digit millions of euros.
