All original Weekender camping equipment including pop top canvas, curtains, bug screens, lighting, upper bunk child net, and powered cooler all in great condition. Complete original owner’s manual and receipts since 2010 included. I bought this beauty as a Swiss army knife for family exploration and planned on keeping it for the long haul. All maintenance done at dealership and spared no expense on items that needed fixing. I had a vision of long family adventures in this awesome vehicle and it turns out, after a few short trips, we all realized that it just wasn't for us. My loss is your gain!
The Good: Castrol synthetic at all oil changes New water pump New Serpentine Belt New mass airflow sensor New air, fuel, and cabin air filters New ignition switch 4 new Nokian eNTYRE tires - correct size and load rating (awesome long wear tires) New tie rod ends on both sides 4-wheel alignment AC/Heat work great 10-CD changer Shoulder belt on driver's side jump seat I always garaged the van Original manufacturer plastic still on floor storage area Current inspection, serviced in August, and ready to drive anywhere! The Not as Good: Heated front seats, but the driver's side seat heater doesn't work (passenger works fine) Minor dings/blemishes consistent with a 12 year-old vehicle Has a trailer hitch (some surface rust on this), but is not wired to tow anything - I used the hitch for a bike rack Torn tinting on passenger side rear window (see picture) This is a great vehicle and deserves a home where it will be used and enjoyed. I've tried to capture everything above and in the pictures, but please look and ask questions. Priced to sell; reserve is below KBB private sale price. Also, I'm including a great storage/sleeping tent that attaches as an extra room or free-standing "shed". We've only used it a couple of times and it's still in good shape. It's a green Arc Haus side tent and you can see it behind the van in one of the pictures. Policies:

Daimler says straight up it doesn't cheat on emissions tests
Mon, Sep 28 2015Distancing itself from VW and its diesel emissions scandal, Daimler has put out a statement saying that it has never installed devices on their vehicles that would artificially reduce emissions during a testing process. The company added that it "actively" supports European regulators' efforts to improve emissions-testing methods to better measure emissions during "real" driving conditions. BMW put out a similar statement last week, saying that its diesels are programmed to be tested properly. While Mercedes-Benz diesels were a fixture on US roads in past decades, the company's diesel sales are now concentrated overseas. "We categorically deny the accusation of manipulating emission tests regarding our vehicles," Daimler said in Friday's statement. "A defeat device, a function which illegitimately reduces emissions during testing, has never been and will never be used at Daimler." There's a reason for that sort of straightforward statement. Namely, heads continue to roll at VW after the automaker admitted it manipulated software in its diesel vehicles to pass US emissions testing. VW followed up by saying that as may as 11 million vehicles worldwide may contain that software and has set aside $7.3 billion to address the issue. VW CEO Martin Winterkorn stepped down as well. Take a look at Daimler's press release below. Daimler AG categorically denies any and all allegations of manipulation Stuttgart, Sep 25, 2015 In light of the ongoing assertions from the Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH), a non-government organisation, and the related speculation, Daimler AG once again clearly states that: We categorically deny the accusation of manipulating emission tests regarding our vehicles. A defeat device, a function which illegitimately reduces emissions during testing, has never been and will never be used at Daimler. This holds true for both diesel and petrol engines. Our engines meet and adhere to every legal requirement. In light of the written request by the DUH, which was sent to us this morning with a deadline to respond by 3:00 pm (CET), and the seven questions they posed, we can confirm that none of the allegations apply to our vehicles. The technical programming of our engines adheres to all legal requirements. We have no knowledge of measurements that indicate our vehicles did not meet legally required standards.
European new car sales drop nearly 8% in first half of 2019
Thu, Jul 18 2019PARIS — European car sales dropped 7.9% in June, led by bigger declines for Nissan, Volvo and Fiat Chrysler (FCA), according to industry data published on Wednesday. Registrations fell to 1.49 million cars last month from 1.62 million a year earlier across the European Union and EFTA countries, the Brussels-based Association of European Carmakers said in a statement. Calendar effects resulted in two fewer sales days in most markets, accentuating the decline. Registrations for the first half closed 3.1% lower, ACEA said. For European carmakers, weakening demand at home compounds the pressure from a sharper contraction in China and emerging markets that may yet bring more profit warnings. NissanÂ’s aging model lineup contributed to a 26.6% June sales slump while Volvo Cars, owned by ChinaÂ’s Geely, saw deliveries tumble 21.7%. Registrations also fell 13.5% last month at FCA, 10.1% at BMW, 9.6% at Volkswagen Group and 8.2% for both Mercedes parent Daimler and FranceÂ’s PSA Group. The Peugeot makerÂ’s domestic rival Renault suffered less, posting a 3.9% decline. By the Numbers BMW Chrysler Fiat Nissan Volkswagen Volvo Peugeot Renault
